This thread is idiotic. I can't view those matches cause youtube is blocked at my job, but I did manage to see a few matches of Ally last night that I thought were impressive. I think they were vs Percon's DDD and four matches vs Kingace's MK which are most likely different from the ones on the front page.
All I have to say is, f throw into mine into n air was probably the most amazing thing I've ever seen a Snake player do.

this does give some credit to ally
everyone here in montreal doubted him, until he ***** us.

Wifi means little. Lag (dependant on how much, how long, did it change mid match? etc.) are button delay (generally constant throughout a match)
Due to button delay, you may buffer a move you didn't want to do. Tech-chasing an opponent got a little easier due to the button delay for their jab input, etc.
Yah, Ally is good, but wifi means very, very little.
Ice Climbers are severly hurt by the above mentioned. Ever try to 0>death in 'jump lag'? It's nearly impossible when your fine one second, and the next takes 15 seconds for a frame to go by....
PS:
Not saying wifi means nothing, but it means very little compared to offline play.
