Awesome tournament. Major shoutouts here:

Kyle (Twin A: F you. Good match ups man. I just wish I went IC's against your sheik and not Samus. No Johns. I will beat you at home :D

Lewis (Havox): Lurvs my brother. We shall face off in the next tourny. Same as above for at home

GoldenGlove: Awesome tournament but we need to friendly so I can show off my IC's. Completely different from Kyles and now I will actually practice with them lol. Next time man.

Alphabravo: Good matches. I just need to work on my game more. Next tournament expect a much more difficult challenge. Good matches and great fox. Can't wait to see you rep NM in Farmington

Erich: Tough luck in the Grand Finals. Time sucks when you run out of it. But you still amaze me. Oh and sorry for the pikachu 3 stock ownage. I'm glad it didn't shoot your confidence down. Thanks for the good talks and the great laughs. Can't wait to see you kick *** in Farmington.

BTK: Good friendlied and I hope to play you more. I'm glad I won in the friendlies but I was hoping for more tournament competition where the nervousness and all out attacking comes in. See you in 2 weeks

Lrin: Close matches. Sorry I hit you with psycho 3 suicide victory mindgames ;) Next time we shall Samus ditto k

Neil: You still own. Great doubles matches

Wraith: See you one of these Fridays. Really happy you came today :)

Everyone else who doesn't get on here... good job guys :) Glad you came and you were really good.

Kash: Next tournament man. Next time.

P.S. FOR FARMINGTON!!! We will be having as many people as possible crash at Lewis' so we can leave first thing in the morning without driving everywhere. I expect everyone to show up. Please for the love of god do. Pre tourny practice to the extreme. Laters

Woot woot shoutouts time.

GoldenGlove (or goldylocks :p lol jk bro): you had me figured out at the end there. BUT that just gives me room to change now haha. I cant wait to face you again. I still think your CF can beat my ICs if you just work on the not getting grabbed thing (CF should be fast enough for in and out stuff)

Paul 1 aka AlphaTier: Thanks again for using your Fox against me. Facing your best really helps me imrpove a lot. And as always you just straight up kick ***.

Erich: bro, wow. Every time I think Ive seen your best you impress me even more. You alone make me want to take up marth (but im faithful to the twins haha). I cant wait to see you play again, this time hopefully time will be on your side

Tw1n: ...hi :D

Havox: ... (see above) :p

JohnnyLaw aka BTK aka Paul 2: we really didnt get to play eachother much again. But that Link ditto was fun haha. See ya in a few weeks :D

Neil: Bro your Falco was amazing! you picked up mindgames and that was intense! I still feel you won the battle because of that 1 frame opening that you actually shined out of! If only that was on camera! Till next time

Chefman: I didnt know you were Crystals bro! But you told her you got 5th... oh well lol. You and Luigi47 were both amazing for not knowing any of the advanced techniques. Just make sure you learn to approach differently

Lrin: I dont think we played eachother... wow. Alright next time its on like Donkey Kong! :p

Wraith: Ronald I could tell by the end of this tourney you improved a great deal. Keep practicing and Ill see you at UNM

Twin_A: bro your IC's are the best in state! I cant believe how you were able to grab both Alpha and Neil and do so well... oh wait thats me... lol im jk you guys. Im tired and couldnt help it :p

To everyone who wasnt there (Pice, ABP, etc.): wish you guys could have made it. Next time please do

And last but not least

Kash: It took 2 tird place finishes in a row and you to have a hardcore mama burn on me but i think Ive finally made you realize im a threat haha. Before Farmington we'll have some matches so we can continue this rivalry lol

IT WAS A BLAST YOU GUYS

Hey guys, fun stuff. I liked this monthly, it was nice. Anwyays, here goes:

Paul: Nice job winning. Repeat EXACTLY of the last tourney for double elimination, except I was doing stupid stuff due to impatience for being late. Anyways, you still beat me so, until the next monthly my friend. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Steven: Good job dude. You're getting better and better, keep it up. Farmington should make your skill increase a lot.

Neil: ...You got freakin' good dude. Freakin' good...you've vastly improved. Congrats!!

BTK: It was good to see you come down here again. I think you meant that I gave you tips, but meh...it don't matta. Anyways, keep working on the stuff I told you to, aight?? Also, go check out the video discussion threads under the misc videos, and go watch the AHTP videos made my Wak. They're stickied, so it's hard to miss 'em. You'll learn A LOT from them. The thread title is called the 1-YEAR-OLD-how-to-play-video.

Kyle: Thanks dude. Hehehehe, I'll show you better next tourney hopefully. I was pretty sloppy in the finals 'cause I felt really rushed, but hey that's alright. Like I said at the tourney, I'm like your brother and you, I have a strong will. It's been my goal to show other states that NM's got potential, and I've been doing that pretty decently with that Marth of mine. Besides, nobody seems to play a really, really good Marth. I've always wanted to be nationally ranked too, so I'll beat Forward at the Farmington tourney, just wait and see!! You yourself have made some vast improvements. I like your attitude about it too, you don't just wanna stay good with the IC's, you want to get better, because eventually people are going to find ways to counter them, and you're always going to be improving, one step ahead. Keep it up.

David: Man, I haven't seen you at a tournament in a long time. Nice job moving up on the Power Rankings though, you beat the two people who were in front of you, nice. Just keep doing that more and more. Nice new character pick, it's always good to use more than one character. Just don't pick up too many, or you won't ever master any of them. Being the master of one is better than thoroughly knowing many.

Davis had better come to the next one!!! Maybe I'll go Smash with you guys the day before the Farmington tourney for a while. Maybe...I won't be crashing over there though, due to the fact that I'm a separate driver. Talk to you guys more later!! Peace.

****, man... I really wish I had been able to go. It sounded like a blasty blast.

Perphaps the next monthly could be December 1st if the Farmington tournament, which it seems to be, falls through. Yeah?

To answer Paul's question, they get really busy and they need the chairs. We could probly stay longer if we brought our own chairs or something, but I don't know that it'd be worth it =/

I dunno. I was doing really well against Havox and BTK in freematches, by which I mean no offence, but who knows what would have come of a tourney match. Plus, I mean, I never John, but I am and was sick.

Tw1n: Those were some pretty badass matches. Looking forward to playing again.

TwinA: Hopefully we play each other next tourney, I have some good memories of matches with you.

Neil: You just keep getting better, and sorry if you thought we were talking behind your back, that wasn't the intention.

Havox, BTK, Wraith: Never played you guys in the tourney, but had some really fun and awesome free matches.

AlphaBravo, Erich, Goldenglove: Never played you, but I think we could have predicted the results. No whininess intented.

I assume "John" means "make excuses". I think no one should "John". Accept the game. I wouldnt care if a gorilla busted in the room, smashed my controller, and then I lost. If you lose you lose. There should be no honor or pride while playing because it is a game regardless. A smash match is between two animals do not let the clothes fool you.

Yeah guys I had a lot of fun. I learn stuff from GoldenGlove every tourney since he plays like the exact same characters I do... Weird... And watching Erich, Paul and Neil always makes me want to go practice... I learn tons just watching those guys play... I really want to work on my Falco because of Neil, man his is awesome.
Yeah, and I agree with BTK, or Paul, or whatever you want to be called :p. No johns. If you think there was one, keep it to yourself and make up for it in your next match.

Alright, if I get sick the day before the next tournament, I'll just take it as a sign from a higher power that I'm not meant to play Smash anymore, and not come. The odds were bloody astonomical as it was.

Lrin you always play a good Samus. Even when sick. We never played but i watched you thats for sure. The next monthly will be interesting to say the least. I want to see if you can "find a way to approach Link without getting a bomb showved in your face" as i believe you put it lol. Cant wait

No that just means prove to everyone that even while you are sick you can be really competitive and kick some serious *** ;)

Well, I think there is a difference between making excuses and using excuses. Regardless, there are factors that contribute to your gameplay, positive or negative. Whether you acknowledge them or not is irrelevant. However, if you use these factors to excuse yourself from a poor performance, than that is what I disagree with. I don't see anything wrong with making a statement, but don't use the factors as a cushion for why you sucked.

EDIT: I would laugh my *** off if a gorilla busted in and broke my controller. I'm pretty sure of it. I'd then follow it up with, "OH! IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!"

I don't think he was using it as a cushion more as a next time I shall kill you all!!!

And if a gorilla broke into my room I wish I could say "I challenge you!" or "I accept your offer! Fight to death!". But in all honesty I know what would happen for ANYONE. Gorilla breaks in. We get freaked out (probably scream alot too) and run like hell either till its chasing someone else or till we find guns and swords to kill it off hopefully (god bless technology)

I wasn't directing my rant at anyone imparticular, I was talking about in general.

In all reality if a gorilla busted in my room... well, I'd be boned. That is assuming it came through the door. I do have a sword, two daggers, and shurikens I could use, though. I think that would just piss the gorilla off, though >.<

ha ha true Kyle.

As for weaponry I cannot even come close to counting how many I have off the top of my head. As for real steal weapons at least (and I know theres more just cant remember... and these are just mine not including Kyle's): 7 knives, 5 throwing knives, 5 throwing needles, 4 swords, 4 throwing stars, 2 scis (or however you spell them. The one that mileena from mortal combat has), and more that I dont want to try to remember. So maybe... MAYBE I could fend off the gorilla. But if he got his grip on me I'm screwed

including mine you're forgetting the riddick shivs, 3 pen blades, 2 butterfly knives, enough standard knives to fully arm a third world country and half of Russia, more swords, padded nuchuks (yes padded cuz you'll need all the help you can get :p), plus more that im not even remembering. And then theres lil shanker, my necklace knife. yes i named my knife lil shanker :)

Looks like I'm actually posting now...

Nice gorilla comic, it's almost too much of a coincidence. As for johns, I really don't care. I used to john so much when I picked up falco, always complaining bout my suicides and whatnot..

****, you twinz have a crapload of weaponry. I'm scared. I dunno if you guys have seen it, but I think Davis and Steven witnessed my 30 pounder recurve bow. That's my weapon of choice, and I usually visit the Archery Shoppe like every few weeks. Other than that, steel and guns don't interest me. :ohwell:

And wraith, thank you so much. I really appreciate the falco comment. It's such a great feeling to know you're just some random gamer that actually serves to inspire other people. Davis, I know a while back Paul idolized over your doc I think. Great feeling eh?

I vote the next monthly to be Dec 15, the Saturday immediately after school ends. But if nobody is traveling at that time, I vote Dec 22nd, the first day of winter :)

EDIT: Please tell me we are doing SOMETHING on December 3rd. I don't care what. Some kind of burial, memorial service, or a moment of silence?

*Note to Self*: In the event of a zombie apocalypse, go to Kyle and David's house.

Also, that's cool Erich, except it's looking like there's not gonna be a Dec. 1st tourney after all...

Ya our place or Lewis' for the sake of room.... or wal mart :) But our place is just loaded down so if anyone tries to F with us they lose a finger or an arm :D

Sad about the Farmington tourny being canceled. But its all good. Maybe we can convince Farmington to come down here for a monthly

Hey guys, you interested in having your monthly on the 15th of December? If so, money matches?

I'd like to: Kasha, GoldenGlove, Alpha, allaboutpeach (if he still plays), the twins, paul. 7 mm. And all of them at 5. Who wants to do this?

EDIT: Hey Paul, I'll be hitching a ride with you whenever it is XD Also, what's been going on?
