First of all, somebody left a black Nintendo Gamecube controller at my house, and I think it's Cameron's but I'm not sure.

I'm sorry neither of you could come Davis/Steven. It didn't even feel congested like the last fests.

Kyle - I love your Ice Climbers. Just like Steven, I was learning how to match-up against ICs, and apparently I beat you with marth. Still though, I don't trust my space animals (excluding falco on FD for lasers) against your ICs. Oh and, sorry for throwing the controller down in disgust. Couldn't believe I suicided after a full stock lead.

Lewis - Your marth has serious potential. ~TIPPERS EVERYWHERE~. If you put good use to chaingrabbing and edgeguarding without abusing his spike, you'd be better than erich Seriously, he can't tipper like you. (no offense erich) And I hope you find your copy of melee too. Sorry to hear about that.

Zach - First of all, don't abuse wa-cha! That phrase itself was a mindgame to me the entire fest. Second, you have the technical skill, but if you brush up a bit on mindgames and the other small things, you could be the next Neo . Remember, no low tier characters, it's low tier players. JK zach, i'm low tier too.

Cameron - Too bad you aren't reading this because even though you have an account, you never use it . I hope that chaingrabbing/wobbling paper helps you out. But as I recommended, get through all the advanced how to play ssbm videos and master all the techniques, then get IC specific. And I wish you coulda played David too, his ICs have an interesting playing style.

Lewis and I are planning on hosting an "everyone in New Mexico come to this" tournament (name will change with time). It will be sometime in the beginning of the new year. Probably the second weekend at Lewis' house. Its big and wide open and anyone can crash there. We want all of the Farmington and Alb smashers to attend. More info will be coming later. So now that i did that annoying details part, anyone think its a good idea or probably a bust?

first off, Neil, thank you for calling me tippergod. When I am not feeling lazy, I will have to throw that in my name--it made my year! seriously, everything lead up to that one sentance, "How do you do it? I don't understand how you tipper?" lol.

But as for the Fest that David and I are planning, anything and all is fine with me. I can't bring a tv, the two I use for the PS2 and Wii are a little to big and expensive, at my dads house, but I can bring a spare gc, and upon request, my wii, if I feel there is great enough need. Just not before noon guys. I live on the western edge of nowhere('downtown' of developing Rio Rancho) and i am sure you like your sleep... I do suggest that at least some people stay--as I don't want people to get there, and drive all the way back into town at what ever time they might leave. As for the day, David, just what ever day gets everybody there. INCLUDING YOU!!!! I would hate to not be able to face someone because the tourney is on the wrong day--unless its just that one person. then if they dont want to alter their scheduel(unless for church) then so be it. In which obvious case, we will not have a tourney on sundays, ever. I am sure that has already been discussed somewhere around here... any questions just ask me here or via phone(call or text).

kyle, we never faced accept for in teams because we face all the time. our duel marths were rediculous! that was easily the biggest owning i have seen in any of our team matches, against or with one another. THE MARTH WALL!!!
Zman, yeah. . . CF Marth matches were the ****! what happened? you owned me first round, then we started recording and it went just the opposit. either way, Neil is right, brush up on some of the ness(everything) and you will be terrifying adversary to face. Those knees hurt. a lot.

More or less, this tourney will just be held at my house, as I(or HA) will host it, but for the sake of making it great, everybody will have a part in planning it my precognitave date on it is set somewhere around new years. before or after, does not make a difference. ****, if by majority votes, we can have it a day or two after christmas for all I care. My family(or half, because i am the link that ties my families together) is going to california. this technically would be the most open house time. but either way it makes little difference. Again, what ever gets people here to have fun and smash the **** out of one another. Its like the gathering of the NM Team, and those rookies who are trying to get into the team

Everyone should invite their friends to come to this one. Get more people in the NM smash community interested in competetive play. Plus it will make it interesting not playing against the same 6 or so people each time.

EDIT: And yes there is no beating Links sex kick. It is the greatest move in the game :D
