So far this guy has guessed most characters I can think of, including obscure ones such as Sheena from Tales of Symphonia. Pretty fun thing to mess around with.

I'm guessing it has something to do with assigning the highest picked number of the five answer choices for each question to every character. It's a continuous process of elimination and question-replacement (meaning it would [re]place questions into certain parts depending on how the preceding questions were answered).

This thing is creepy. I as thinking of the pokemon Giratina, it doesn't een ask me questions close to pokemon related things, and still gets it right. Out of the 5 times I played, he got 3 right. They were Blrog, Clippy, and Giratina. The ones he got wrong were Captain Falcon (suprisingly) and Shoop da Whoop.

Holy ****, this is pretty cool!

It guessed Dr. Cox (from Scrubs), Axl Rose, Mick Mars (guitarist for Motley Crue... the questions weren't even that specific!), Slash, Bill (from Left 4 Dead... I can't believe it got this one!), Dirty Harry, and Goku.

But it didn't get Coco Bandicoot (from Crash Bandicoot), Joe Elliot (singer for Def Leppard), Nancy Wilson (from Heart), Cobi Jones (former US soccer player), Laura Dern, or Gilby Clarke.

The fact that he guessed Klaymen (from Skullmonkeys) for me on my first Akinator run-through amazes me to this day. I didn't expect him to even be in the database.

EDIT: Despite him being wrong in guessing Klaymen just now, he guessed Jiub (from Morrowind) instead. This is too awesome:

Also this thing adds the answers you give to it's knowledge base to improve it's accuracy i think. So in a year or so it's probably gonna be harder to fool.

I love this thing. Only one I remember successfully getting was Nanoha, a character from an anime I watched, but there were others my roommates successfully got as well.

Oh, and the results can be so funny when you pick random answers....
