Teen years suck, things are only just now getting fun now that I'm nearing adulthood. I realize my childhood has just been wasted and there are so many more things that I could have done.

Ya what's wrong with only havin a select few friends? I'd rather have one great friend than a whole bunch of not so good friends. I wouldn't really care if all the random people I'm "friends" with never contacted me again. As long as I got my bff I'm cool. Unless you're like big into social networking and such which can be useful, but that sort of thing is different once you are out of high school.

Don't worry about all that social crap if you aren't great at it or into it. Social structure changes after high school, it'll start making more sense. If you ask me I'd say private schools can be worse, loads of snobbish rich kids that never have to do anything. I've experienced both.

If you get kicked out, don't worry. If you work smart you'll do ok and you'll be proud that you did, even if you go through rough times. Have an idea or goal of what you are striving towards. Something to keep you motivated to keep moving forward step by step.

What would you even know about public school? What you pick up off The Secret Life of an American Teenager? Suggesting anyone watches that is just too mean.

Bwargh. My mom still has like, more than half of her friends from highschool. Meaning she's kept friends for 22 years. And that's assuming she only met them at the end of her high school days.

<CNN>I'm pretty sure those are pretty real friends. Just sayin'. </CNN>

I recently graduated and I actually want to go BACK to school. So many memories I just wanna relive. In high school you're pretty much forced to socialize with people to some extent. When you get out, it's not as easy to meet new people and whatnot. Appreciate it while you have it.

Good for her? If I spent 12 years of my life in an alley, I could probably make some good friends there, but that doesn't mean alleys are good places to find friends. School is a common source of friends purely because you're forced to be there all the time; it's not exactly the cream of the crop. In fact, didn't you just make a post *****ing about the people you find there?

Relevant note: I was only homeschooled one year.

I have 1 good friend that I still keep in touch with from high school. All the rest of my close friends are people I met outside of school. Just sayin, its not the end of your social life if you don't have a lot of close high school friends. Its a big world out there, you'll find interesting people all over the place. Just be open to the people around you. Some people shut themselves in their own little world and don't reach out to others.

However if you are the type of person that makes a lot of friends in high school years thats just as great. I just don't want you to worry or anythin if high school socializing isn't your thing.

And don't you try to point out the problems with the people in school. I love those shallow *******s. I wasn't *****ing about them at all. I love them. I'm just as bad as the rest of them too. I don't get jazzed every morning to learn.

Also, people aren't really better once you leave high school. They're the same. Sure they might be from different places but y'know...they're just...other people that graduated from high schools. Haha.

Life after school does cause people to mature a bit more, and their priorities and interests tend to shift along with their mentality. Maybe not better, but different. Then you have certain people that act the way they did in high school for the rest of their lives lol.

I am a man of many deceptions, it's true.

I get jazzed every morning to learn. I love learning. Learning is awesome. You get to apply it to things and then blow stuff up with it. The problem is there isn't much actual learning going on after you finish with the basics; you just swallow random facts and then regurgitate them for the test so it looks good later when the city gets its average grade statistic bumped up a bit. And you have to deal with all of those insipid ****s on top of that. It's a sour deal.

And of course people don't magically get better out of high school; **** is still **** after it's flushed. But it's not the end of all hope for your social life if you end up in a second-story apartment bathroom rather than the public toilet at the 7-11.

I can agree with this blog. I hated my high school, which was a catholic school. Doesn't make a difference though, cliques everywhere. I thoroughly enjoy college more. There's still cliques (kinda), but when class is done, everyone goes their own way to their own group of friends.

I like high school a lot actually. And I'm just as bad as everyone else. You best believe I'll make fun of you if you smell. You deserve it. I probably don't want to talk to you if you're ugly. I'm very shallow.

Well, everyone's high school is a bit different. It was my first time going to a catholic school , so the sermons and 5 hour long mandatory prayer service didn't help haha. No one did anything fun :\

Also, you are awesome for recognizing the Kingdom of Zeal! PURE AWESOME (caps).
