Well I don't blame you for thinking you could place less. You're using Sonic against tough as hell regions. That's an uphill battle already. XD

Get wrecked, us. No amount of lack of match-up experience justifies top professionals getting matches taken off of them by Sonic. X is just that good, KID. If he devoted all this time into a higher tier for all the hard work he's put into getting Sonic's name out there and placing high, he'd probably be taking quite a few 1st/2nd place wins way more often at big tourneys in the NorCal and SoCal scenes, if not anywhere else he goes.

Until then, he placed 5th place out of 55 people, was it? ****ing amazing. Keep going, X. You're awesome.

As far as I can tell, and this is without bias,

1. X
2. Espy
3 Everyone else gets mixed around here and there (MalcolmM could still do well? idk? Wario's awesome)

Espy wrecks in Texas, and Texas is one of the toughest Smash states in America, if I recall correctly. Meanwhile, X's high placings and wins are not something to be overlooked.

No way dude, don't you remember that whole AiB thing where he played Tenki, Phoenix, Shado, and various other Sonics on the regular with Falcon? It may have been a long time ago, but the keyword was that it's Ally haha it doesn't matter how many more *tricks* we find with Sonic, he'll still know all that he needs to know to tear our character to shreds.

I was in Lain's pool and ended up getting tied for 2nd seed. I also didn't get a chance to play Ally, completely forgot to ask for a friendly.

Our games didn't go to the last second or whatever, but at the very beginning of game one, I hit him with a bair for the lead since I was at 0%, and then we just stood there for a good twenty seconds before I lost my patience. From then on it was just hit, then pause, hit, then pause.

On both ends too, btw.

Why do you talk about things you know nothing about? Ally could be considered a MK counter but he is definitely a Sonic counter. I'm not sure who he plays to learn it, but I've gotten to play both his Falcon and Snake and he knows the matchup like no one else i've ever played. Even against M2K, it feels like you're being out-charactered but against Ally, it just feels like you're being "out match-up knowledged." I agree with Cam that even if we learn a 0-100 combo on Cfalc, Ally would still beat us. Unless there is a Sonic who makes zero mistakes the whole game and practices against the top players in the world then I doubt that there will ever be a sonic that can beat him consistently. And don't link me that wes video because i don't enjoy watching games where the winner approaches with rolls...

Plus all Sonics are scrubs... thats why we play Sonic because we don't enjoy characters that actually win tournaments. =P

Holy used to main Sonic, until it was completely obvious that Sonic wasn't capable of winning tournaments. So, that's where most of his MU experience probably came from. Sonic/Brawl hasn't changed enough since then to make any difference on how Ally has to play against Sonic. So, he already knows everything he needs to beat Sonic consistently.

Also, K.I.D. is a bad troll.

Atomsk- easily most known.
Will probably play ICs on you. his ICs are very good, dont get grabbed, if he thinks you are too much of a hassle to grab/arent worth the effort he might go DDD or MK. either way hes gonna beat you.

Deez- isnt he from md/va? dont you know him already. im pretty sure he plays Gwatch.

Tactical- I believe hes a quality snake player, that match will probably be determined by matchup knowledge for both of you.

Smash GOD. dont know where hes from or who he plays, but hes in the SBR so I would assume he is skilled, i think he plays snake or mk tho i have nothing to back this statement.

Dont no soma cruz or Banhammer.

I'll accept the 10 dollars. I don't know if I'm better than fiction, our Warios are a tad different. He's more patient than I am, but I'm better at landing wafts and don't give as many free hits from excessive spotdodging.

So, i got 5th out of 55!!
at World 2-3

we nearly beat dsf and tyrant in teams, they were SHI**ing themselfs!! Me and my partner comandor beef 2-0ed everyone! till we got to dsf and ty, we took them to the last match of 3 out of 5. our name was hedgehog beef we got third.

i also won over 15 money matches!!! never lost a single one! whats even greater is that i beat 2 sonics, got 2 bucks from one, and 3 from the other.


but yeah thats my update! i hope you guys like it!!

Oh yeah he said it all. Tyrant and DSF were getting so scared during a couple of the matches. Never seen double Meta Knights be flying and jumping under stage for a minute straight. Sorry about no videos, I knew that was a mistake.
We didn't play each other in Singles, but we went back to back in the results! Me getting 4th and him getting 5th out of 55 people...We're both too good with our mains to even have a secondary.
