What do you mean he creates a huge bunch of crap? Kojin does ALOT of experimenting, man. This guy doesnt afraid of anything and is pulling off amazing stuff with Sonic. Sure, it can get frustrating that some of the things you work so hard on doesnt amount to much, but Kojin gets right back up and steps his game up. I just hope im not misunderstanding your post.

I can probably count on one hand the amount of smashers in my region that would admit to me being a good player, but that doesnt stop me from pulling top 5 in every brawl event and top 8 in every melee event we hold.
speed was always a crazy wild, random, massively offensive sonic, but nobody (not even us) knew/thought he was at that level until he beat chudat in a match
look at espy, he has next to no hard knowledge of the game, he has no idea how to define matchups, and nobody in his own state thought he was worth crap, until he beat the player (mr. 3000) that everybody did think was hott shiz.
True man. Beating pros are no small feature, and even if you have to camp hardcore/time them out, its still beating them, and no one can take that away from you. IMO, I really think you guys are really good players. KID, i see you gettin busy with Lucario, and that Sonic is looking good. Yeah, im wild and crazy, imo im working on being more random and not overly offensive. I didnt know I could really beat him either, but I still need to do better. I sometimes put myself down just to force myself to do better.

i've beaten several well known players, i'm just inconsistent and then lose to a better well known player lol. i'll get better though.

in short, i said that if you are a talented person in this game, you will have certain traits, and that then they show themselves in high level competition. in THAT ORDER. Nowhere did i say i was the best anything , or i should be discussed as such you idiot, i said that i was getting better and you'll have to "wait and see". I had to put competative brawl on hold for college, but that wasn't just make an excuse to "protect" myself or something. i probably wouldn't have even brought that up had it not been for kid in the first place. How many tourneys did I go to this year? not many at all. Kid, im not downing you, you know that right?
Again, I dont say Im the best Sonic, not even in my own state, where, I'm like the ONLY SONIC. just ask speed or shado (MD sonics who've seen me play and talked with me extensively) . I let other people's experience seeing me play or playing me IRL determine my standing as a player. I think Speed and Espy are the best sonic's so far. Not just because of who they beat, but ALSO because of how they play the character. If you still wanna put me down after this go ahead I dont give a crap. you're useless to me anyways.

Honestly, there is no way I can be the best Sonic. I have waaay too many faults such as getting predictable, getting on patterns, running into things
Kirby bair's lol KID too good and some player skill faults. Espy, i think he's the top hedgehog. Dude is freakin crazy o_o and the way he can just adapt (unknowingly, mind you) is amazing. Im gonna keep working until I can get up there and still push myself further.

Yeah...we need to figure out some kind of defensive game to balance our aggroness.
Aggression is a no-no in brawl :/ But, some people can make it work.
In a way, but as Sonic, it could come down to the opponent not knowing the MU. In those matches, you can (i still wouldnt recommend it unless you KNOW its gonna work) go aggro and get them caught up in some pretty crazy things. Or, you're just a better player overall and can predict and punish the other player's habits. Its up to you, since Sonic is so flexible.

i tried to play super aggro all match like speed. it didn't work. I'm somewhere in the middle now. i run around and do nothing a lot too lol. just run around....
Mindgames. Get in their head, make em scared. And i dont know Kojin, the random things i just do sometimes get into a pattern, and i dont ever use spring dair.
why pick one when you can play flat agression and beat a meta and than time out a wario the next round?
why choose one style when you can choose to play all of them in the correct circumstances. theres no point to playing aggro against a zelda or a DDD, and theres no point to trying to camp a falco or a toon link (tried it yesterday, dont work...)
do what works and play what wins.
Adaptation. You can still do the same thing and adapt, and still get the win. Is that what you're saying?
Well, running is Sonic's strongest attribute, you're supposed to use it. run around and look for openings/make openings. And if you're in trouble, just run away, almost always works

I know where you are coming from. you got me pegged. I kinda switch in between matches. It's not as flashy though. the only thing that stays constant is when I get you off the stage I go crazy lol.
back when i didn't know better, i once tried to camp out TKO's falco by dodging all the lasers. that didn't go well.

I feel that there's only so far that speed and mindgames will get you. I just want to see a really gay playstyle that wins.
Time em out. Hit and run, irritate them so you can catch them on their faults. That is the best way to play Sonic.
