Today's my birthday, fellows! 19 years old, yeah!
Yeah, I know what you're all thinking. "Who the hell's this guy?"
Well, just taking advantage of this ocassion to ask everyone here a favor.
I've been looking to expand my cultural knowledge. If everyone that leaves a post in this thread could each suggest me anything (a song, movie, tv show, webcomic, book) that calms down my thirst for culture, it would make for the ultimate birthday present.
So, thanks in advance, everyone! I have been EXTREMELY unactive in these forums as of late, due to loads of work that needs to be taken care of...Hopefully, I'll be able to re-integrate myself in the community soon.

Happy birthday!

My suggestion: the show Rescue Me. The final season premieres tomorrow on FX, but if you haven't seen it before I'd deff suggest starting from the beginning, each season is intensely dramatic.

Another great show on FX is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, very funny :p

well happy 19th birthday sir :)
as for the stuff i would suggest to you.... well, lets see...

survivor is a great show to start watching if you dont already! :) along with Glee(i cant help but love the music), and maybe...... Hell's Kitchen!

music... well, i listen to a lot of country, but i think rascal flatts is pretty good to listen to... they represent country music very well i think, along with carrie underwood

if you would like to start talking about games, i would be more than happy to :)

again, happy birthday :bee:

Also, I would suggest The Hitchhiker books by Douglas Adams and I am Legend by Richard Matheson. It's very different from the movie. As to comics, I like Deadpool and Watchmen. Some good movies are anything by Quentin Tarantino and Hayao Miyazaki. Webcomic wise, I would suggest homestuck and Cyanide and Happiness. These are just my favorites, I don't know what you'll be into but I hope i've given you something you like or made you think of one.

Check the media metropolis if you want some more cultural knowledge. This isn't the appropriate room.
