"A Bad Smash Day..."- Conker for Ultimate!

I sincerely hope they don't go for the Project Spark design, honestly, it's not that bad, but it's way too contrasting to the original Conker design that I love (and also very contrasting to other Rare characters such as ), which is this one:

Fair enough. Bad Fur Day, Big Reunion, I don't really mind whichever design is used. Though if Sakurai can make an HD model for Conker based on Bad Fur Day that's different from his Big Reunion design but still captures that classic Rare feeling, I'd be all for it!

Love your ideas for alternate skins/costumes. I think that his design should stay in his alts, the only thing that would change would be the colours for his fur/skin and his clothing (I'm not sure if this exactly what you were going for, tho It'd be great if they made an SHC soldier as the character itself an alt for Conker, much how they made with all the alts for and one of the alts for .

Honker the Skunk, since he is known for being "Conker's evil doppleganger", he might have not appear in BFD (which makes him a little less recognizeable), but he is kind of relevant, since he wan even going to be playable in the cancelled sequel, Conker's Other Bad Day.
But yeah, the concept of different hats for Conker's alts is brilliant too, and fits him pretty well.

I agree with you that Conker's design should remain consistent, and only his fur/clothing would alter. That's what I was going for. I don't know how I'd feel if they made a SHC soldier as his own character in the Bowser Jr. style, but it would probably be neat. Also, I think Honker is a great idea for a skin! Not only would it give Conker a really cool costume, but it would also represent the more obscure side of Conker's franchise!

Oh yeah, that compeletely slipped my mind lol, but I still do believe that the concept of Subspace Emissory, with its dark tone and the "deaths" of some characters, could have a little bit of an impact to the Avengers: Infinity War!

I love this Conker hoodie it's awesome that people didn't forget about Conker and still make some merch for his legacy and yeah i'm a fan of Deadpool and Gravity Falls but also i'm a fan Star Vs The Forces of Evil & Rick and Morty that I would love to see a crossover series between the 3 Shows. I created this to show that I want this crossover to happen and you if guys don't Star Vs The Forces of Evil & Rick and Morty, you should go watch it, it's a great show to remember about Gravity Falls because these two shows are rememberable experience and look to similar to Gravity Falls of how it does it that Alex Hirsch, Daron Nefcy, Justin Roiland know each other and recently follow each other on twitter and I know this crossover can't happen do to copyright issues to their property between Disney and Adult Swim and also what makes this crossover to not happen is Rick and Morty as a Sitcom show and Disney would really have to censors everything that Rick and Morty has, Star vs can't happen because their show is kind of bummer to something that Disney see that those two wouldn't make sense to the story of what's going in Star vs and to Gravity Falls combining wouldn't fit to story of those two shows.

If i'm wrong, I would be happy with it, and I created this, the characters in this fanart is Moon Butterfly, Morty Smith, Rick Sanchez & Stanford Pines and from Star Vs The Forces of Evil, Gravity Falls & Rick and Morty so what do I think about this fanart and what I said about the crossover?

I'm a fan of Gravity Falls, Rick & Morty, Deadpool, but not Star Vs The Forces of Evil. I've heard great things about that show, but I never came around to watching it, I'll make sure to do so in the future! By the way, are you a fan of Steven Universe? I've always wanted to see Dipper, Steven, and Morty interact with each other...

It seems as though Rick & Morty and Gravity Falls exist within the same multiverse, which makes sense given how Alex Hirsch and Justin Roiland are friends in real life.

You got it wrong pal, I never meant to say that your choice of putting PS Conker was a flaw, I was just saying that I sincerely hope they go for the BFD Conker design (which fortunately that's probably what they'll do if he ever gets in). I can totally see why you opted for the PS Conker design, as I mentioned in my previous reply, since it's the only modernized HD version of him, if you ad included the BFD N64 model of Conker, it would look absolutely weird since he would be so out of place in contrast to Toon Link and Diddy Kong.

You know what I find really cool? After all of these years, Rare still has their Conker statue at their studio. Recently, they decided to move the statue to a different part of the studio and cool picture of it was taken and posted to Twitter.

I'm really glad that this statue is still around and being kept in great condition! The reason is, there's another statue of a video game character that hasn't been taken care of... A long time ago, a Sonic the Hedgehog statue was made for a SEGA event, and after the event finished, SEGA sold the statue to an unknown buyer, who then put the statue on the side of a highway in a mountainous area of Japan. Overtime, that statue started to slowly decay and is currently in a terrible state. Thank goodness Conker was kept in pristine condition!

Was it stated that the second DLC fighter is gonna be a brave character (I mean that adjective can apply to so many characters)?
Alot of people are hoping that it's gonna be a Dragon Quest character, if so than it better be slime, cause if it's Erdrick (a.k.a. another generic anime swordsmen), than that means there's gonna be another DLC slot that I will not buy!

I'm not sure if Super Mario RPG will ever arrive on the online NES collection since it's an SNES title. If you wanted to play it, your best bet would be the Wii U Virtual Console, purchasing an SNES Classic, or just emulating it. Also, I wouldn't mind the Slime joining Smash.

He works best when he's talking, and seeing him stay silent in cutscenes wouldn't do justice to the character in my opinion. You're right, thanks for the advice. I guess that even if they will start adding SNES games, it will be like in a year.
The SNES classic mini does seem like the best choice for me, specially because I'm also very interested in playing other cult classics such as Castlevania IV and Earthbound! I remember emulating Earthbound and really enjoying it, but soon I lost all of its data, so now's my second chance!

I understand, however I believe that Conker could still work out with his wacky facial expressions and some grunting sounds and gestures!
He's not the only character that's known for being a smart mouth and for constantly talking, Sonic, for example, worked out just fine in Brawl.
And besides, even if he wouldn't be able to talk in the Story Mode, he didn't have to be necessarily quiet in the entire game, just look at Snake's Codec Calls.
So I'm sure that they would have given at least some silly quotes/comments to Conker!

Also I wanted to point out, despite not being a fan of the Live and Reloaded design, I think it goes super well with the realistic and detailed artstyle of Brawl!

Yeah, no doubt that Geno would certainly be a really cool fighter and that it would make alot of of fans happy, but the fact that he's already a spirit really makes his case pretty damning.

You know, now that I think about it, considering that Geno is a Mario character and that he's highly popular, then why doesn't Nintendo just outright BUY the rights to both Geno and Mallow??? I mean, let's face it, what the hell is Square Enix going to do with them anyway?! That's right...nothing!!!
So they're stuck in purgatory, only Nintendo could bring them to heaven now. Just imagine it, we would have Geno and Mallow, not only included in Smash Brothers but also starring in Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario Party, hell maybe even Super Mario Bros!!! You know, now that I think about it, considering that Geno is a Mario character and that he's highly popular, then why doesn't Nintendo just outright BUY the rights to both Geno and Mallow??? I mean, let's face it, what the hell is Square Enix going to do with them anyway?! That's right...nothing!!!
So they're stuck in purgatory, only Nintendo could bring them to heaven now. Just imagine it, we would have Geno and Mallow, not only included in Smash Brothers but also starring in Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario Party, hell maybe even Super Mario Bros!!! I can see the fans reacting very positively to that.

Fans would no doubt react very positively if Geno and Mallow were bought by Nintendo and were implemented into Mario games. Even people unfamiliar with the two could grow to like them! I'm honestly not sure why Nintendo doesn't by the rights back from Square Enix. There's clear demand for Geno specifically, and Square is never, ever going to touch him or Mallow. If they were, they would have done something by now, but its been 23 years...

Anyway, today I came across an IGN article written a couple of days ago discussing Conker in celebration of his 20th anniversary. Anyway, today I came across an IGN article written a couple of days ago discussing Conker in celebration of his 20th anniversary. Yeah, the game really pushed the boundries of what the N64 is capable. Not just the animation and the voice-acting, but also the various gameplay mechanics blew my mind! To this day, Conker's Bad Fur Day's multiplayer modes, have got to be on my top 3 out of all multiplayer games that I've played!
I still don't get why people keep making such a big deal of Goldeneye 007 multiplayer, since basically the whole game (specially the multiplayer deathmatch mode) is ridiculously inferior to every aspect of BFD. Like, I can see it being a big deal at the time, but Goldeneye aged extremely badly, whereas Conker's Bad Fur Day still holds up perfectly today.

Really glad IGN was able to top that out, cuz some of their reviews and articles tend to be quite IGNorant sometimes.

It trully is a shame that the game doesn't seem to get as much recognition as Banjo-Kazooie, specially nowadays (which I find ridiculous)!

If we can get Rare Replay at E3, or at all this year, that's our first step towards seeing Banjo and Conker make it into Smash. Or who knows, maybe a Microsoft DLC character will get announced at E3. Exactly, I know we've already discussed about that issue a hundred times, but it really begs the question! What makes Banjo Kazooie so much more popular than Conker, cause I really can't see. I already mentioned that despite not having as many sales, Conker's Bad Fur Day received better scores from critics than both Banjo Kazooie and Tooie. sure this may not be very plausible since critics tend to be very biased sometimes, but the thing is, Conker's Bad Fur Day not only is probably the most advanced N64 game, it's also really unique and hilarious. I really can't see what makes Banjo Kazooie so memorable and unique when compared to Conker.
Besides, like I already mentioned, Conker seems to be more advertised by Rare than Banjo, whenever there's something that's related to Rare, Conker seems to have more screen time and a better spotlight than Banjo, yet it seems people only care about the bear and the bird for some misterious reason.

Indeed, I am quite confident that they will announce Banjo as the Microsoft Rep for Smash DLC.
Cause thankfully, the other options for a Microsoft Rep don't seem to be happening, let's just take a look at their chances:

To me and others we do not want a Dragon Quest people say to much about erdrick is the square I would rather have some better like Sora, Crono or Geno as our square character, recently the Brave character that people see it's states it's a bit floaty and has slide when they turn so this does not fit Erdricks states at all even their on this video.

I wouldn't mind getting Slime from Dragon Quest at all, but I sincerely hope that it's not Crono (sorry but I can't stand seeing any more generic anime characters in the game)!

Yeah, Master Chief was deconfirmed by both Halo's Twitter account and someone else's Twitter account that works on Halo, I forget his name. I've met some Conker fans in the Banjo thread who are focusing on supporting the bear for now, but you never know, afterwards they may join us here! The only thing I'm afraid of is Conker being looked over for being "too inappropriate", leading to everyone flocking the Battletoads instead. That would really lower Conker's chances if that were to happen.

Most of the leakers are shouting out that Erdrick from DQ is coming, I'd say he's fairly likely, though I'd also be disappointed because I want Geno and it's doubtful Square would include two DlC characters.

Well if you can't get may my advice to understand well my buddy Conker here has gone in this situation before so if can't take my motives then take Conker's motives he has more to show what I talked about.

So be warn and tell me in real life if you actually got in this situation even I done this before, I had to use the curtains get away from it because it's brown so it's easy for me so I explain my story, what is your story???

I have a house that's situated out of the city and to this day, it's still under repair, I go there in my christmas/easter/summer vacations since I was 9 (I'm going there tomorrow)!
I mostly play my favourite old-school videogames (such as Conker's Bad Fur Day) and waddle around in the woods or abandoned houses!
It's really nice being there taking a break from the big city. The only problem is, since the house is far from being "finished", I don't have access to the sewers there, and since I eat so much junk food there, I poop alot, and I normally have to use the bushes for that, and when I'm out of toilet paper, I have no other choice but to wipe my *** on leafs!

EDIT: Ugh jeez, you get penalized for slightly preventing your swears to get fully censored too??!! I mean, how the hell are people even going to know what I'm saying then???

This is getting a lot of poo here in this Conker thread and a love your poo story's, if we can get more poo story's then this means will have a chance that Conker's stage would be inside "Poo Mountain" and his stage hazard would be "The Great Mighty Poo" and I love this sense in Conker's Bad Fur Day and this big giant singing peace of $%@& has a beautiful singing and I want to see this in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

So Can someone tell me how can we get Conker's stage to be "Poo Mountain" and with a stage hazard "The Great Mighty Poo" because poo fits Conker's game and his character when it comes to poo that Conker may have a epic shot with the The Great Mighty Poo getting as a stage hazard and Conker as a fighter to complete his package.

Cuphead-Way too early

Banjo really does seem like the most realisitc option, and the fact that he was once owned by Nintendo (just like Conker) must increase his chances.
And why is this good news? Because with Banjo out of the way, Conker might get a lot more support by Rareware fans. And not to mention that Conker really is the second most realistic option, not just for a Rareware Rep. but also for a Microsoft Rep. for the reasons that I stated.
who knows, maybe (just maybe), Nintendo might aknowledge their existence and relevance, and include both in E3. Sounds too unlikely, I know! But yet again, there's no real way of guessing who's likely and who's not, just look at how likely it seemed that we were to be getting Geno, and instead we got Piranha Plant, nobody in the world saw that coming!

This is getting a lot of poo here in this Conker thread and a love your poo story's, if we can get more poo story's then this means will have a chance that Conker's stage would be inside "Poo Mountain" and his stage hazard would be "The Great Mighty Poo" and I love this sense in Conker's Bad Fur Day and this big giant singing peace of $%@& has a beautiful singing and I want to see this in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

So Can someone tell me how can we get Conker's stage to be "Poo Mountain" and with a stage hazard "The Great Mighty Poo" because poo fits Conker's game and his character when it comes to poo that Conker may have a epic shot with the The Great Mighty Poo getting as a stage hazard and Conker as a fighter to complete his package.

As cool as it would be to have the inside of Poo mountain + The Great Mighty Poo as a stage boss, we've already discussed in page 3, that it will probably never happen cause it might lead to controversies! The closest thing that we might get is a Spirit of The Great Mighty Poo!

Besides Conker's Bad Fur Day has many other memorable areas such as Windy or Rock Solid or the Beach, etc. and a ton of amazing soundtracks to listen to.

Ugh I'll be gone by tomorrow, but ah what the hell, it's just one day. But wait, "a New Nintendo Direct presentation focused mainly on ARMS and Splatton 2", but what about Smash Brothers??? Don't tell me we have to wait even more to know who's coming next

Yeah, as cool as it'd be, Poo Mountain just won't happen...

Also, there's no direct tomorrow, unfortunately. That image says "4.12.17", but if it was tomorrow, it'd say "4.12.19". I'm pretty sure a direct is coming soon, however, because Nintendo not only is releasing Joker this month, but they also need to announce the features coming in Smash Ultimate's 3.0 update. I suppose a new character could be revealed during this time, but it's not guaranteed. They may decide to save the next character reveal for E3 in June. We'll just have to wait and see!

Banjo could be dropped in a regular Direct. Me personally, I feel like a Banjo reveal would be more fitting at E3, because both Microsoft and Nintendo are the main companies attending, unlike Sony. It'd be the perfect place to reveal him. In addition, since it was confirmed that more Xbox games aside from Cuphead are coming to the Switch, I also feel like E3 would be a great time to announce Rare Replay. Oh man, if there's two games I'd be hope for, it'd be Rare Replay and an official, localized version of Mother 3 both on the Switch. More people need to experience Lucas' story!

Oh man this bad for guys well even it's good that Conker is in Slackerz Gaming's Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC Tournament so in this tournament characters in this vote poll has every 1st, 2nd and 3rd party in this poll if you don't know him he's a gamer of playing Smash Bros, Rocket League and other random games so even i'm not a mother fan but do know game and their characters but what's bad for you guys is that well... Conker is going up against Ninten from the Mother series why did you do does Slackerz Gaming so yeah if you want your character to win is go on youtube, comment the character you want or you vote both because you like those characters so yeah if we want Conker in smash brothers this is his chance to win so people can talk about for smash.

Oh and by the way to warn you Conker fans, if Conker goes up against Shantae from Shantae then he has no chance of beating her because the Shantae fans is always their and shantae has beaten every single character in smash history!!!

Ah yes, me too! I really want to try out the Mother series soon, specifically Earthbound and Mother 3!!!
Even tho I already kind of know how the story in Mother 3 goes, I'd really love to experience it for myself!
As I already mentioned, I'm planning on buying the SNES mini, so I can try out Earthbound and a few more great classics. Unfortunately I didn't go very far with my Earthbound emulator before I lost all saved data, but I loved the experience that I got from it!

Speaking of the Earthbound/Mother series, who would you rather have for a third rep in Smash, I'd pretty much be ok with anyone, but since we already have two kids present, I'd personally prefer a more unique character like Flint or maybe even Giygas/Guiegue.

Well thanks, I just requested Conker to be added to the tournament in the comment section of the video you showed, not sure if I'm two weeks late. But anyway, I hope this'll work, so that more people will think that Conker has a chance and support him.
By the way, why is Shantae so excessively overrated when it comes to Smash? I literally can't see anything special about her.



Also, I wanted to say that I'm still willing to do that Conker vs Geno drawing, but I need to think about a fitting concept first.

I don't see why that wouldn't be possible. I guess it's up to Rare, I'm just gonna assume it's more likely that they'll do a straight port of the game instead of including DK 64 and the others, not to be a party pooper. But hey, because the game is going on the Switch, seeing those titles pop up on there would make sense.

Why the hell didn't Mother 3 get released in America and Europe anyway???

There has never really been a solid answer as to why Mother 3 was never released outside of Japan. Rumor has it that it's because the game contains swearing, or that the game would be too controversial because it contains what it appears to be transexual characters. There's also a scene where Lucas trips out on magic mushrooms... But what I don't understand is that why would these aspects of the game hold it back from an international release? You know how you solve this? Either censor the game a little bit, or slap on a T rating. Other reason why Mother 3 was never released (according to speculation) is that it would be too costly to translate the game into English, but I don't know about that one because literally every Nintendo game has to get translated from Japanese to English.

Mother 3 may be coming this year, however. The President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, is retiring on Monday and he has always been making jokes about not releasing Mother 3 and he has always kept in touch with Mother fans. As a send-off for his retirement, a lot of people think it would be fitting for him to finally release the long awaited Mother 3. Plus, Mother 3 was released in April of 2006, and Lucas was announced as Smash 4 DLC in April; a lot is lining up right now for this to happen. And if not this month, the Mother series' 30th anniversary is in July, which would be another perfect time to release that game.

Well, I would really want Ninten just to have the psychic kid from each Mother game, but at the same time there's a lot more interesting characters in the series that don't use psychic powers. My personal picks are Duster (who has a variety of thief tools that would make for an interesting moveset) and Porky (because we don't have any characters on the roster who are in a mech, and mechs are pretty bad-ass). Plus, Porky is a recurring antagonist, and I just can't imagine Giygas being there instead because there isn't really a solid design on what he looks like... Anyway, you may remember Porky showed up as a boss in Subspace Emissary:

To be fair, just because you might not see anything special about Shantae doesn't mean there's nothing special about her, or that her fans don't see anything special about her. That's not me trying to lecture you or sound rude, but I just think we should keep an open mind about other characters because there may be people out there who are thinking "why are those guys supporting Conker, there's nothing special about him" and we wouldn't like to hear that. From what I've seen, Shantae has a lot of cool genie abilities, some of which involve turning into different animals which is an ability not seen in Smash so far, so that would make her unique. Plus, Shantae would represent indie games well!

Conker and Super Mario RPG have two completely different atmospheres, and seeing those two worlds collide would be super interesting to see. I'd have to give it some more thought if I'm going to give you a detailed response of what I think it would be like...
