#448 is my favourite Pokémon; Lucario, and I don't know that there will ever be a Pokémon in the future that I will like more, I can hardly wait to get Pokémon Diamond and catch it's pre-evolved form and evolve it into it by building up it's friendship very high.

how would someone be able to tell you the CREATOR saved all the crappy monster for later?
OOoooh!
I heard it through the grape vine.
Not much longer would you be mine
Oo, I heard it through the grapevine
And I'm just about to lose my mind
Honey, honey yeah

Ramuparado is the best. After Dunsparse, of course.

^^ Yeah, what he said.

I also look forward to evolving my Shiny Dusclops into his new evolution. (he hasn't got an English name for it yet) They say he looks like a genie though.

And now Mewtwo and other psychic pokemon have a new move to make psychic moves work on Dark type pokemon. Sweetness!

Speaking of new moves, does anyone know the difference between Hyper Beam and Giga Attack? There both 150 in power, there both physical manuvers, and your pokemon cannot move next turn if you decide to use it. I don't see the difference between the moves.

Hyper Beam is a special attack. Giga Attack is a physical attack.

I thik Hyper Beam has more PP as well.

It used to be a lot easier to explain before they changed the system.

In the old days, Fire, Electricity, and Psychic were all Special attacks, and Normal, Bug, and Flying were all from the Attack stat. Do you kinda get the difference between DarK(special) and Rock(attack)?

Then they changed it so it was not longer based on the type, but the individual attack itself.

I suppose the best way to explain it is by using a Star Wars example. Using a lightsaber would be like using the regular attack stat which is using muscles. The force would be using the special attack stat which is not necessarily a projectile, but outer energy generated from the body.

But there both Normal so how in the world can Hyper Beam be a special attack like Psychic? Then again, if you were to use Hyper Beam on Nidoking, you don't have to worry about being poisoned by his special ability "Poison Point" cause it's a projectile. Now if you were to use Giga Attack on him you would be poisoned chances are cause it's a physical attack. Am I getting warmer?

Still, it's kind of redundant to have two of the same moves.

Haven't you heard? They no longer separate special/non special attacks by type, but rather on each individual move. Hyper Beam now runs off the Special stat. The elemental punches are now run off the Attack stat, and so forth.

I know it's weird.

Say What?! I know what you're saying Common, but I just can't believe it! This.......this might turn me off of Pokemon.....completely. What a drag! I'll have to devise new strategies now since Game Freak decided to pull this bull!

It's not bull. The fact that the elemental punches were special is bull. They're obviously punches. Gamefreak did the right thing.

Then Game Freak should of did this around Johto instead of waiting until Sinnoh. It's like they spung up on everyone saying "Suprise! You can't make Psychic pokemon have elemental punches anymore because we decided to make them for pokemon that have juicy Attack power instead of Special Attack power. Sorry for ya!" So yeah, it's not bull, it's just completely gay!

Now I refuse to use Alakazam, and Grumpig anymore!!!

It's funny how people always complain about how Pokemon constantly stays the same, and the first really new thing to come up, people hate. I, for one, support this change.

Maybe not the elemental punches though. It seems to me like the elctricity off the Thunderpunch would do more damage than the punch itself.

Has it even occurred to anyone Skarmory is now even more gay?

Fire Punch/Thunder Punch -> Super effective! lolwhatphysical140basedefensenodamage

+ the item Beatiful Skin, which allows the holder to switch out, regardless of ANYTHING. bye Jibacoil (magneton evo) Skarmory does lack the leftovers though so I doubt all skarmorys will have Beatiful Skin.

+ the gay move Feather Rest. Flying type 'Recover'. How are we supposed to kill skarm now O_O

and some more stuff I can't remember. I know there's some stuff that was Physical before and is now Special that might harm skarm.

Some pokemon get killed by the change, and some get helped. Arcanine having a strong fire attack to run off its monster attack definately pleases me, I always liked that guy.

What attack is that?

I think I'm going to get DP now. I just wasn't sure because even though I like the battle changes and online is cool I didn't know if that was enough.

I've never really been into battling. I prefered catching and breeding and just using pokemon. I don't like EV training or anything like that I just liked figuring out how to transfer moves on my own instead of looking at a chart.

I don't use TMs very much and prefer to make movesets from naturally learned moves. I've always used pokemon that I like regardless of their stat's (Lugia and togetic come to mind) or "usefullness" in battle. I think Shedinja is ugly so he will never be on my team. Skarmory can die in a fire.

I like raising pokemon for my friends, allowing them to raise a team of 6 without leaving pokemon to rot in a box.

So I decided to get DP because it seems to cater more toward my interest and less toward the things I dislike (lack of a real storyline). I'm only going to get them if commonyoshi will be my sensai. I know nothing about competitive battling and would like to beat something besides his Shedinjax5, Tyranitar team.

This doesn't make me a Pwiffer.

I'm honored. (even though a typo or sarcasm seems likely) I promise to study pokemon more than I study for school to help you out. seriously

You'd be better off with Leafgreen386 though. That guy's a pokemaniacgenius.

Edit: I'm currently thinking of a team involving only woopers. I'll see how that turns out.
