Posting a screenshot here just for the sake of reference:

I disagree with it, of course (still insist on Lucina's position, I see. Same way how Megaman, Corrin and Toon Link are higher than Marth. Maybe I could make a case for Megaman but I can't see TLink or Corrin).
I also feel that Roy is not that low.

Huh, when was this out? Considering this is the 4BR Tier List discussion thread, I'd have expected a bit more fanfare. And a title update, probably.

This talk of Shad confuses me. Then I remember that being a Ryu main it only makes sense that I know pretty much all Ryus on the rise and it wouldnt be common knowledge no different then when say Chainz rants about Greninja in EU.

But yeah...dude is good. PRed in Ohio as well.

Initial thoughts:

1. Mii Fighters are so god tier they don't even appear on the list, which seems fair
2. Zelda isn't the worst in the game anymore yaaay!
3. Lucina being seventeen places below Marth seems a tad extreme...
4. ... even Pit and Dark Pit being three spaces apart is a bit odd, really

I agree with most of the placements though. Aside from the Lucina vs Marth issue, my biggest disagreement would probably be with Donkey Kong's placement, to be perfectly honest.

I see marth, maybe corrin and maybe bayonetta rising from in the future while i see pikachu, ness, cloud and ryu dropping. This is overall a great list though.

Addendum for Mii Fighters:

Of the votes we collected, 27 of them had Mii Fighters. While we were not able to accrue enough data for XXXX Miis, we did find results with 1111 Miis, which placed them into the bottom tier as follows:

I don't think the S tier should be looked at numerically. I'd rate sheik a lil lower, ryu in S tier, mario at the highest of A tier (if looked at numerically), cloud at #1, pikachu in A tier. Those are the first I noticed.

are we seriously just going to openly disrespect Marth now? his placement is almost insulting at this point.
Ness isn't a high tier he wins nothing and his top players don't place well.
I genuinely think falcon is lost.
Robin needs to be higher those are just my thoughts looking at that initially.
and I thought we were past seeing cloud as 2nd best?

I know that Lucina lacks the results, but I see no reason why she should be 2 tiers below Marth. Did they both not get virtually the same buffs? But I guess being a worse version of Marth, she is going to have little in representation.

I also feel that Roy is better than that, but he also has very little rep.

To be honest, this tier list is complete trash.

And I'm not just talking about silly low tier **** like the locations of Doc, Roy, and Wii Fit (crazy low). Like, not even the top tier is close to accurate. Mario is not better than Sonic, Diddy is not the best in the game, Cloud is not better than Sheik, ZSS is not better than Mewtwo, Ryu is like an entire tier too high, and Bayo is better than where she is. Then you go down to high tier and see a character with multiple invalidating matchups (Ness) ranked stupidly high, overrated Toon Link, a downright insultingly low rating for Marth, Pikachu over Mega Man and Villager, and that's only two tiers into the list. Pits a tier too low, Yoshi higher than anyone can justify, Lucina hilariously far from Marth, ROB high, Lucas lower than Bowser and Robin ffs...

This is worse than a ZeRo tier list and it's nearly as bad as an ESAM tier list. I don't get how anyone can look at this and say it's good, and the fact that people will look at this as a representation of the metagame honestly scares me.

I'd argue the top tier is fine (Sans Cloud and Ryu).

At least they didn't completely overshoot with Corrin and stick him in top 15. Boy they sure tried to though. C-E is a complete mess.

Cloud is too high as well. And the difference between Pit and Dark Pit is... weird. S-B is... mostly fine, a few I'd rotate around. F-H again, mostly fine a few I'd rotate around. C-E looks like a giant case of "too few specialist for each character so it depends on which region the voters were from"

I'd say Shulk's right where he should be for now. His stronger mains HAVE been grabbing a decent result or two lately though, so with some more refinement to his tech and maybe more abuse of mobility + shield arts to lame people out I could see him edge his way closer to mid tier as time goes on.

This tier list had voters' input from Japanese players as well. That would explain Ike's placement.

The opposite can be said of Lucas. Taiheita may be making bank in Japan; its just that so many more non-Japanese players disagree.

People don't like to admit it but: NA/EU and Japan have two slightly different metagames. Its not 100% apples to oranges despite being the same game. Shouldn't be using Japanese opinions in a NA/EU focused list, and vice versa.

(On top of that a lot of people brush off Ike. I'll readily admit that his results have been slipping for various reasons but come on that's just a bit silly)

I don't think people understand how much of a boon arrows is for Pit. It's a major advantage for him over his counterpart, and I could see Dark Pit being even lower than he currently is once people realise that.

@John12346 Alright, lets here this one. Should be good to hear particularly when considering GOLM.

It's alright to be honest, but some things are questionable, at least to me:

Cloud is too high. Num 5-7 would be more appropriate.

Pikachu > Meta Knight is odd. I'm pretty sure Meta Knight is more popular and recognized at tournaments then Pikachu.

Marth is too low. Marth should be above characters like Tink (who is overrated), Corrin, Ness, ect. Lucina being that far away from Marth is a stretch; there's no way they are that far apart.

Link and Pac-Man should go to mid tier, Link at the very bottom of it. The guy recently has been getting results that prove that he's more than just a low tier. Pac-Man is unexplored and has the potential to move higher if people decide to pick him up.

I'd place Roy above Falco.

Wii Fit i think is too low. She's better then most of the characters above her tier.
