On rails = trashtacular?

I believe some of my favourite games are on rail shooters. (Starfox, Sin and Punishment)

yeah I mostly meant icarus, it can be done good, but it seems so pointless in this. like I am reasonably certain it's impossible to die in those sections.

those games work best as platformers and always have.

4 different platformers isn't too many imo. not considering how many platformers there once used to be in the past and how many of other-kinds of games there are (we have enough FPS / fighter / Racing games, even enough RPGs. give us the good stuff).

I just mean graphics, gameplay unchanged ofc

I've always felt they should return to the roots of 2D gameplay while simply using 3D graphics to make it 100x prettier. The best example I've seen of this is Donkey Kong Country Returns, unfortunately that is one of very very few.

Face raiders is a bit of fun IF anyone but you will let you take their photo D:
get better, everyone wants to be in my faceraiders game

faceraiders is the scariest ****ing thing in the world though, holy ****.
you even get a ****ed up luke/ganon laugh when you select it in the system menu.

also ric you were saying dumb stuff, and I was calling you out on it, you can cry all you want about keyboard warriors, but thats how I would act irl too and you know it ;)

I think certain people in this thread need to go and look up the definition of trolling, instead of using it to just describe it when anybody says something they dont like.

as for the 3ds, I like it, I think its cool
and I got splinter cell 3d and its a good game, if any of you have ever played the splinter cell series. (pro tip: they are all really good, stop being muscle heads and play a game that uses your brain and a little bit of patience and cunning)

No, I wasn't. Those are the "problems" I saw with the 3DS according to my gaming standards and what I think a handheld should and shouldn't have this day and age.

Everyone has different opinions and gaming standards, hence why some people are really impressed with the 3DS and others aren't.

I'm not trying to continue this quarrel, I just had to post this.

Shame the laggy controls and 'shake to roll' stuff made it pretty annoying, not to mention rolling not getting a boost from killing something like in the Snes DKC's, so you'll roll, kill 2 enemies and get killed by the third in the chain :/

I didn't feel any lagginess in the controls personally, but I do agree about the shake to roll stuff. Also if rolling a line of enemies is going to get you hit at the end there's usually a better way of dealing with them (free lives for jumping on them all in sequence a lot of the time), not to mention you can jump out of the roll at any point anyway...

It does have its flaws though. I wouldn't say it's exactly what I'm looking for, just that it's the closest thing thus far that I've played.

I just got a 3DS yesterday, its pretty sweet! Sucks the 3d effects kinda hurt on the eyes after a while though and spent most of the time turning it off completely.

Dead or alive is pretty sexy aswell. although the storyline was really rushed and some parts didnt make any sense at all =S (if i played the other ones, then it probably would.

How many people can we add into the 3ds as friends btw?

You get used to the 3d effects after a while I've realised.
And you can hold 100 friends..Not that many all things considering >.>;
