Our third installment of CROSSFIRE lived to it's expectations as far as Team XFIRE is concerned! With a little more than 100 people (total) in attendance, the hype and the clicks of the GameCube Controllers filled the air! And the salt was real.​

It was a complete honor to host a Super Smash Bros. Brawl APEX2014 Qualifier for the first time. (Go to www.APEX-series.com to get your registration done EARLY and pay as little as possible.) Players from Canada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York came to qualify for APEX2014. We personally want to congratulate our Top 8 of Brawl Singles, along with everyone who participated, for putting in all their hard work an effort they put into their matches.​

But CROSSFIRE is not only about Super Smash Bros Brawl. Team XFIRE just loves Super Smash Bros. in general! And our attendance for every game sure showed it! And as we move forward into the future of Smash Bros., Team XFIRE is excited to bring the community more events. I got second at a mini national (Might as well be since NJ/NY is broken)! I am consistent in Singles and Doubles. Now I just need to get first. Going to overcome this mental block I have. I am also glad I represent my crew well at each tournament I attend. Apex is going to be the true test!

I had fun this tournament being able to play a lot of people in the atlantic north region and stuff was a good experience, unfortunately I didn't think it was worth the money I spent in the trip considering the person I was supposed to team with didn't show up and didn't give me any notice so I couldn't do doubles and then having to play my training partner, who I've played probably 15 times this year already, in a tournament we both traveled across the country for was pretty upsetting. Even though it wasn't the fault of the TOs are seeding or anything like that, as a TO myself I know it's not really plausible to look that far into bracket, it was just some ****ty coincidence. But like I said I still had a good time being able to hang out with everyone.

Massive shoutouts to Will for driving us and housing us, you were the best and had a lot of fun playing you/staying with you. Dulor too for throwing the event and also everyone I played in friendlies and MMs it was fun.

Dul - Great tournament man, don't beat yourself up over it. It was a huge success. Smashboards being down hurt your attendance a little bit, but you still had the most amount of unique people there (almost 100 iirc). Keep at it. I just wanna point on something since D1 and ktar came to me asking. That shirt I had on. the image on it was my brother who took his own life due to depression. It was made for the family after his burial.I know the commentators were joking around cause they thought it was a musician. I wore that shirt to see if it would help be play better and somehow have my bro help me focus and play at my best, which I never seem to do. But it did not work and ended up playing like **** as usual. And yea, I did break down after I was taking out. Make fun of it all you want for those aholes out there. Don't care about you. Just pissed I played like crap and more so then ever, the lose of my bro.

How cocky are you to think that 1st and 2nd at locals and 1 head to head win puts you above me? I got 1st at uprise 12, mage monthly, 2nd at crossfire 2 and ktar7, and 4th at rescue and bad at sktar (which you didnt even go to, so idk how you're gonna use that against me). And 3rd at the local you beat me at. On top of all of that. I'm top 2 on the rankings too. If you really think 2 local placings is enough to put you above me, I'd like to hear why you think so, and why you thought I should absolutely not be 5th seed, to the point of being a baby and leaving.

Edit: Also I like how apparently I'm the *****, meanwhile you could have easily confronted me about it IRL, but instead ran away and waited until you were behind the internet to spread things about me like a 13 year old girl.

I would say yeah, but I stopped giving a **** about you as a person when you cut me off because you had a problem with me instead of addressing the issue. I've known you for years dude and you're very different offline vs online, I can say that for a fact. I've hosted plenty of tournaments on LI to warrant inputting my opinion. I'm allowed to say something if I think there's an error. You somehow thought it was the biggest deal in the world because you couldn't beat rusty m2k and nairo/nakat could. (And you strongly believed I shouldn't be 5th seed, which caused all this, which I proved wrong with results)

But yeah, if you wanted to take it to violence that's sad, but nobody is trying to act tough here (other than you I guess, mr "I don't talk out my issues and run away from them"), if you want to have a decent conversation I'm up for it, but once you take it outside of that, I just lose respect for you.
