@ Gregory2590: Here's what I would try.

Ok. First, reopen a clean fitsnake.pac, then:

A) you should be in subactions, not specails.

B) move everything in your picture after "change subaction to subaction 1" to the subaction called "SpecialNStart." (# 1DD)

C) insert some kind of timer between the offensive collision and the terminate collisions.

D) go from there and pray that the extensive amount of subroutines and variables that seem to be attached to all of snake's specials, don't mess you up.

Lol, that's really cool!
Anyway, for external graphics, does that only effect that certain character, or you can use it on any other.

Can someone explain to me how Falco's uthrow and bthrow angle his lasers differently? I'm looking at the code and it just says "Generate Article 1", the same as his normal laser. When I apply that to other moves, it always shoots straight horizontally.

ALF, good question.

it is very likely that the angle depens on how the gun is positioned, try for example switching his Dair to his Dthrow (no seriously). If I remember correctly from the video cpae showed me this will make him shoot down.

EDIT: saw a vid and that doesn't work. now I actually gotta think about it :p

Does anyone know how to reverse animations as in making them face the opposite direction?

2 questions:
-How does one go about adding multiple graphical effects. Say you want to add fire and darkness. Do you add Fire, then add darkness to the edited flag or is there something special you have to do?
-How does one add a offensive collision to an attack which normally does not have one. I tried adding one to one of falco's throwing animations and it didn't work. Do you need any other lines besides the offensive collision one?

1. Just simply add another gfx line, with the different effect.

Those are articles, not attributes. Attributes are things like weight and falling speed, articles are items produced by a character during a certain attack like blaster shots or fireballs.

Does anyone know how to alter friction?

I thought it would be in the attributes list, but I don't see it. Is it undiscovered?

Hm.... Right now I'm trying to get Lucario to shoot an Aura Sphere unless it is fully charged, if it is fully charged he shoots his Final Smash 'Kamehameha' attack. So far I can get the screen to shake, the sound to go off, the camera to change, but I can't get the beam to form. (I can though if I link the max charged aura sphere script I've made to the start of the Final Smash script though...)

Any ideas? I want him to shoot the beam horizontally, not vertically like in his Fsmash, and of course have less Knockback XD.

Also, Leaf, I believe I know the solution to your problem. Are you editing the 'Other' thing in the SubActions? That has occasional effects that can cause problems.

Oh, and what is the command to get rid of Final Smash powers? I know the bit is RA16 for Final Smash, but I can't get rid of it. (Best I've gotten is getting rid of the powers, but the person is still 'Final Smash' glowing, and no smash balls will spawn until that person dies.)

Can you edit characters articles? I saw with the Phoenix Mario that the his Fireball becomes larger once it hits the ground. How do you do that? Sorry if this is a noob question, just wanted to know so I can make some cool characters.

Ok, This is SOOO weird.... But I gave Lucario one of Wolf's animations, and it works perfectly. I don't know how I did it, but I did do it.

Uhh...anyone know how to shrink/increase size of yourself or your opponent during an attack? Or change their animation when you attack...like force them into tumble...

Just noticed something, don't know if this is known, but here it is anyway.

Found in Toon Link's pac file, under sub action 66 (down air): the line "0E080400: 1-0, 1-FFFC3F11, 1-0, 0-1," is what causes the character to be propelled downwards as the move is executed. I have yet to experiment with it to see what other kinds of movement are possible.

I'll mess around with it tomorrow, right now I need some sleep lol.
But yeah, I need a rising move as well.

That's gotta be the one. It's in Lucario's dair, too. I will mess with it now, and I don't need sleep for another 3 hours minimum.
EDIT: That was fast... Just open the command up and change Parameter 2 to a positive. It's in a negative right now (or it should be, from what I just checked). I'll be right back once I test it. Makes sense though, since it cancels Lucario's down momentum with an equal up momentum.
EDIT2: I don't believe it, it really worked! Lucario was propelled up, and by a decent amount too!

Haha wow that was quick Leaf.... i hope so much that this works!!
PW's indirectly to thank. The most recent update of SA let me see that the variable equaled something positive on Lucario's, and it was way different from TLink's value.

HOLY ****! I want to love you (P.Y.T!)

XD jk. But thanks for this info :) I can give sheik a melee dair now (well, sort of)

but making is negative propells someone up or down? like , what way is it? lower number=upwards, higher number=downards? or what?

EDIT: I checked lucario and sheik's dairs...on the paramter two, both say zero... !?!?!?

EDIT 2: I don't think it's paramater 2... help!!!

Negative is down, positive is up.

I can't believe I helped make a discovery... I NEVER help with fancy stuff like this! I just tell people what's already been discovered so that they can figure it out... :D Yay

EDIT: My bad. The second parameter, but that's Parameter 1. ^^; See? I fail.

OOOOOOOOOOH. XD thanks.

So, if I just wanted sheik's dair like melee's, should I just set it to zero?

Edit: I think negative is up, positive is down...lucario has a value of 0.3, sheik has 2...

No, probably just remove it altogether. Keep it as a copied command though, just to be safe.
