It's already hard to decide who to use, and they probably still have a good amount of characters to reveal.

Idk, Ammy doesn't seem like she could many hits from what I've been seeing in the vids so I might switch her out for someone else.

Wesker and Dante seem to be nice together. Their assists work well together and both do a million damage and have crazy resets.

i noticed that they actually uploaded all 4 reveal trailers for the new characters a couple of days before comic con.

Wesker looks exactly the the character I've been waiting for in a fighting game. Crazy teleports, resets, wallbounces, and can throws missiles.

I'm looking something like this X-23, Wesker, and Iron Man.

I really want Megaman.EXE and CapCom.

Agreed.

Apparently, MODOK WASN'T the "broken" Marvel character that Seth was talking about. Said character has still yet to be unveiled!

"First off, Capcom is doing an INCREDIBLE job at keeping this game close to their chest. I don't know much, but what I DO know I'll be more than glad to tell you. No, I don't work for Capcom, and neither do any friends or relatives -- but there are other outlets in the industry for this sort of information.

42 is indeed the magic number for playable characters.

DLC characters won't be happening, but Capcom is being tight-lipped on this for the time being. If the game launches as successfully as planned, you can definitely expect a significant retail update within a year including a handful of new characters.

March 22 is the tentative North American release date for the time being with Europe and Japan coming soon after. This can -- and probably will -- change, but development ends in February.

Starting in November, a new character will be revealed on a weekly basis on Capcom-Unity, Marvel.com and the Japanese site all the way until early March. There will be a Holiday break in late December/early January without any updates.

I know you guys like specifics, so I'll leave you with the "good stuff."

Bison and Viper are the final Street Fighter characters.
Strider is back.
Haggar is finally a playable character.
Classic Mega Man is back.
Zero is back from TVC.
Roll is NOT a playable character.

It's not much for now, but I'll let you guys know anything new as soon as I can verify.

Seriously though, I'm really glad Strider is back, Strider/Doom/(Magneto or Sentinel), for me, is the funnest team to watch in Marvel 2. That and Strider is ******.

Haggar is an interesting pick, and awesome. Viper should feel right at home, but I don't know how Bison is going to fit without some moveset overhaul.[/assuminghypotheticalleakistrue]

Zucco, just got word from Capcom execs that Bison is going to be fourth from the bottom and a double charge character.

I hope Bison is a charge character in MvC3 that way instead of being mad about him in the game, I can laugh at people like Baby Zucco who want him in.

bison and guile are the quintessential charge characters, you cant have bison in a videogame and have his moves not be charge moves.

So...I really really REALLY want to go to DC now. <_< Like, enough that I might actually take donations. What are carpools looking like?

I currently have $35. I'm obviously not going to enter singles because that's just a waste of $35, so I'm gonna go for the free spectator option. I'm going to assume $20 for gas and tolls in a carpool (though that's being plenty generous), something like $20-40 a night for hotels (hopefully only staying Friday and Saturday night), and with solid cheapness, something like $25 for a weekend's worth of food.

So, worst case scenario, I'm short $90. Anybody want to throw some cash my way?

SLIGHT chance of me actually organizing a carpool to take down there, provided enough people need rides.


This is also heavily dependent on my ability to miss school on Friday.

3) I know freedom is a right that everyone has, but Zucco is just to free for anyone's liking.

Inui, I have no problem with paying you back, but I honestly cannot give you a set date. It's likely going to be a while. Going to have to get a new job and such.

Oscar, I'm leaving for DC Friday morning. If you were going to give me anything it'd have to be Thursday (since I'm going to be gone all of tomorrow).
