just don't watch it *with* your family and you'll be fine, it's not like they'll be able to tell that stuff from a distance unless they actually understand japanese/have seen it themselves before.

Kyubey is helping save the Universe by using an ingenious way to convert emotion into energy. He transforms the soul system of human's for the better allowing them to gain powerful fighting techniques that allow humans to become heroines of the world. To top it off he gives aforementioned humans a single wish, to even be "an omnipotent God" should they want.
Sure, eventually the girls will eventually turn into witches but in doing so they convert into raw energy that is helping to save the entire universe, a necessary and noble sacrifice for the greater good.
