Hi guys yeah Im ecxited to about the tournament Think Im going who isnt? Hey heard the GREAT NEWS. New characters for the SSBB. Presenting: WARIO, PIT, SNAKE AND META KNIGHT.And they say there are more new characters plus the old ones still to come!!!! Im watching the E3 plus checking on the internet.

A friend wants me to post a heads-up for some upcoming tournaments. He posted this elsewhere and asked me to post it here:

El Deskite tournament

For all you guys that have been suffering the wrath of your prof. with their deadly finals. here is an event where you can releive all that stress left from proffesors onto total strangers. We all know its a Vicious Cycle which is the reason for this tournament. its purpose is for you guys to get away from all the tests and all the stress of the proffesors.

When: May 28th (Sunday)
Where: Universidad de Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. Anexo de la Cafeteria
time: inscriptions at 10:00 A.M. tournamen starts at 11:30 A.M.
entrance: $2.00
inscriptions: 5.00 Late inscriptions will be charged an additional $2.00
there will be hot dog sales, sodas (coca cola) and bottles of water by popular
demand.

The tournament will consist of these games:
1) 2d category:
a. MVC2 (dreamcast)
b. Street Fighter 3rd Strike ( Playstation 2)
c. Guilty Gear Reload ( Xbox and PC version)
d. Garou ( Dreamcast)
e. Melty Blood React (PC )
f. Smash Brothers Melee (Gamecube)

*2d Games that are under consideration (only 2 games will be played from this list):
a. Darkstalkers (Dreamcast or Playstation)
b. Capcom vs SNK 2 (Playstation 2)
c. KOF 98 or 2000-2002 ( depends on popular demand)
d. Street Fighter Alpha 3 ( Playstation 2)
e. Street Fighter 2 turbo (Playstation 2 or Super Nintendo)
f. Capcom Fighting Evolution

2) 3d Category:
a. Tekken 5 (Playstation 2)
b. SC3 (Playstation 2)

3d games under consideration:
a. Virtual Fighter 4 Evolution (Playstation 2)
b. DOD 4 ( Xbox 360)

* PREMIERE OF GUILTY GEAR SLASH (PLAYSTATION 2)

The tournament will be double elimination.

The prizes will be:
1) 1st Place: 50% of inscriptions
2) 2nd place: 30% of inscriptions
3) 3d place: 10 % of inscriptions

*All the games that were placed under consideration will go by manner of votes. the games that have the most votes will be accepted to be played in the tournament. I also request that you mention the console of preference

This will be pretty similar to the December 17th tournament. Whenever he does an event it’s usually with multiple tournaments. The location will be much better than that of the Dec 17th tournament, though. I’m sure a good deal of people won’t be able to make it because of the date, but if you feel you will then all the info is here. I’m personally interested in Smash and 3S.

Sorry but:

1. Ten days is not the same as 9, 8, 7, etc...
2. I know this is not the first tournament, but technically, is the first for me.
3. This is a focking announcement, I'm sorry if you misinterpreted and thought it was a spam.
4. I didn't saw or in this case read any complaint when our friend Doji posted several days after the tournament in RUM & Smash2 something like, just one week, three days, two days or something like that.
5. I know I have to train hard, speacially if I want to give you a good, friendly fight. Everyone must train. I'm just announcing it.
6. Smash is a hobby, it doesn't guarantee your life.
7. Let's keep things cool.

I have heard really nice things about you. That you are a nice person, a fierce competitor, a humble friend, and so on. And that's the Lord HDL I want to meet and battle in the tourney. I hope the community keeps united the way it is now. I'm not going to spam anymore. If this is the way you guys want it, tough.

And BTW, just 7 more days till' the tournament. I hope everyone is prepared. As I said before, let's keep things cool.

Hawk, you have the point but there is also a big difference. When I posted every day for 7 days before the tournament I also made a photoshop for each day, see I knew I was spaming, but since I took the trouble of also making a different pic for every day people didn't mind in fact most people waited for the next day just to see the photoshop because no mater how much they begged for it on Messenger I made them wait.

Regular Paint gets the work done.
If you have a fast internet connection and 50Mb on your computer you could also get Pain.net, is kinda lika a photoshop lite, really useful for just about anyone and also light on your Ram.

Edit- I would make an Image, but I need the tournament name.

Speaking of which, you should make another image. It’s the traditionally correct thing to do.

H@wk, the one who took my game obviously didn’t want me to be able to train for this tournament. They failed, though. I’m pretty ready, since I’ve taken the necessary means to prepare. As long as I get warmed up on that day I’ll be able to give you good matches. I’ve actually been accused of purposely losing or barely winning to make it seem like I can win without inputting my best. The fact of the matter is that no human can play at their best 100% of the time.

How Max is going to make it to the Tournament, we do not know. He went back to his house so there's no form of picking him up X_X
About TV's, due to the weight of the people, plus the fact my only tv is huge and doesn't fit in the trunk, there won't be any tvs coming in my car.
