Why don't Pixar short films play in theaters with the main movie anymore? I was surprised that there was no short film in front of Inside Out 2.

...not to nitpick, but it is worth noting that Ultimate's 115 stages also had Battlefield forms made for them, plus they all had to be retrofitted for the sake of Steve's inclusion. Plus, a lot of "returning" stages essentially had to be remade from the ground up (like Saffron City and Fountain of Dreams), while quite a few others were graphically overhauled (such as almost all of the returning 3DS stages.)... and out of the 115 stages in Smash Ultimate, only 16 of them are brand new.
In comparaison, I think Fates really deal poorly with the child, because they don't add anything to the story and it felt like they just used them because Awakening did it without really thinking much about the story implication of having children again.
Also unironically, I wouldn't mind if thechnology was more used in the franchise. I mean, Three houses kind of did if with those who slitters in the dark and imo it gave them a dark and weird vibe and I liked that.
