I feel the whole "kids only, no adults allowed" marketing trend of the late 90's/early 2000's is responsible for one or two dysfunctional families. that started as a joke but now I'm a little sad.

I draw peculiar art on my DeviantArt, I won't go into detail so nobody gets freaked out (or FREAKS out), but in this niche of character design, there's pretty much a consistent formula to characters - adult woman with big breasts, long hair, giant eyes, a permanent smile and no personality - and I got sick of it, so i created the exact opposite - Grace G. while a lot of mascots' games got darker as they went on, Crash pretty much did the opposite.
Even through I didn't preorder I still got the Electron Skins code with CTR.
I don't get why there was such a backlash with the Spyro download thing. sure, it is bad for preservation - but not a big hurdle. game preservationists have brought back lost games before, some that weren't even publicly released, I don't get how one major release for consoles that will have been long discontinued by the time the servers are down could be a big problem

Dr. Mario World's trailers' voice acting is so poorly delivered and monotone it's hilarious. it almost feels like that was the goal
I generally don't like overly violent movies, but I can 100% get behind John Wick's motivations.
I hope the Cuphead TV show is one of those hilariously dark kids' shows - y'know, like Billy and Mandy or Invader Zim. of course, there's gotta be surreal body horror-esqe comedy as well.

God I love CTR. it fixes almost every problem I've had with the Mario Kart series gameplay-wise
seriously through, gaming companies do not owe you anything - they're artists, not advertisers. dreaming about and requesting things you want is fine, but throwing a hissy fit when an unsolicited concept, no matter how popular or seemingly "obvious", doesn't get picked up makes you look like a fool. if you want to set things "right" so much, learn how to gamedev and create your own ideas.
Blindly following fan demand instead of coming up with an actual good idea first is always a huge pitfall - remember StarFox Zero?
I hate Disney's live action remakes but racist tears nourish me so I might just see the new Little Mermaid - or at least buy a ticket then leave.

I cannot for the life of me understand why so many people are opposed to more Sonic characters in Smash. Smash moved past "Nintendo All-Stars" as a focus a long time ago.

I'm planning to sell some games (including a rare German import of Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland) to CEX (UK second hand shop that smells like hell) tomorrow so I can afford SMM2 and CTRNF.
I never got why people like to call cartoons like Avatar or the original Teen Titans "anime". it feels like people are just insecure in their maturity and don't want people to know they watch "children's cartoons". - it's honestly really demeaning to western animation and children's media now I think about it.

Nintendo should bring back the Virtual Console - but for Switch, PS4, Xbox and PC. (maybe Stadia if that's a success - which I doubt) I mean, do you think a straight port of Mario 64 is gonna sell Switches? plus with all the good MS have done for the Big N, I think Nintendo should do something for them.
