I'm thinking of working on a platformer game some day (haven't decided between 2D or 3D, but probably 2D), and one thing that HAS to be in it is a vocal protagonist. maybe I'll add an option to make them silent, but they will be by default vocal.

if you could make any fictional species from a work of media (not something generic/mythical like "vampires" or "mermaids") real, what would it be? my choice would be the Care Bears because of the Care Bear Stare: it's weaponized pacifism, which is basically the coolest combination of two words imaginable. sure, it'd be cool to ride around on a Charizard or fight evil alongside a Wookiee, but the Care Bears are the end of war and cure to psychopathy, how can you top that?

I find TV Tropes to not be as addictive as people say. it's incredibly subjective in its' writing, its attempts at comedy fall flat, they don't do their research and they never give sources.

I've always disliked the trope of "*insert family friendly franchise here* but for ADULTS!" - there's nothing wrong with mature animation or mature puppetry, but you've really gotta think of a better idea than "what if puppets smoked weed?" - not only because it's unfunny and unoriginal, but also because it makes art forms like animation and puppetry seem cheap and "kiddie"
