  • I'll update now if you want. Might be kind of weird. Mike only went to one tourney right? He beat twitch and dj. The only person other than you and yay I've lost to this period is twitch once, and then twitch beat dj and me but lost to jmh and mike. Honestly, mike is kind of an outlier right now, don't really know where to put him. And technically lozr is inactive now.
I picked up SSF4. I don't really want to play brawl anymore. Melee seems more appealing.

Dr. PP do you have a combo video out? I don't really care if it's recent or not, I think I'm loving melee Falco and I wanna see how you play with him.
haha yeah! thats awesome! Okay well u should do this man. Watch MikeHaze's vids online to learn some stuff before MLG. He is one of the best marth right now and u can watch him playijng other top players
towards the end of august. Pee pee. I'm telling you at the top level play everyone knows there character. What determines the victory is matchup experiance and tourney experiance. FOr example I lost my very first match soley to being super nervous while playing on the main stage with no one supporting me.
nice! u should do it! You've got skill! You probably just need match up experiance at high level play. Thats what i was lacking but got alot of it from MLG. I've grown so much from that experiance. I played with a bunch of pros during warmup which was awesome
hey bro, how's everything going? can you email me Matt's (7's) number when you get a chance? thanks

Maybe Im just overreacting...I dunno Im just nervous.

Lol I wish I just knew what to do. Ya know? Im so tired of working for everything. I should just go pick up MK and win at life lol. JK

MK isnt as a threat as I thought, yeah the character has a safe option in any situation but the MU isnt against MK its against the player.
BTW it's not like I've been doing regular wifi. I've been using this site that is a "friend finder". We've had about 3-4 active tourney go-ers come by. I've just been anticipating and preparing, i guess , for well....since brawl came out...2 years? 1?

I've always just kind of "clicked" with any game I've ever played, mostly FPS's and I've always exceeded past the public. I was on the bridge between competitive and casual, and now Im doing Brawl/ maybe melee. But that same "click" isn't in brawl. It's weird, this is the first game I actually get beaten at and I dont exactly know what to do to get "better".
If I wanted to become competitive melee or brawl, how exactly would I go about keeping me skills honed and sharp? It just daunted on me that pro's don't exactly use Wifi(EDIT: Wifail) to keep their skills at their best, while I use it to just further my personal Metagame before I hit the tourney scene...

Therefore how do you keep your skills honed? I'm kind of nervous about jumping into this new setting...I mean...it's just daunting what Im about to jump into. I've got 3 months roughly. 3MONTHS. Do you remember your first beginnings? What did you do? How did you feel? How the crap did you get better?
yeah...but now it seems near impossible for m2k to be as good as he used to be and translate that into tourney success.
I mean i never really thought of it until just recently after seeing how m2k made WC look stupid (granted it was like a 15 man tourney) but non the less they didnt take a game off him).
