HORSE the band has been far and away my favorite band in the world since 2005. i know you're at least familiar with Desperate Living but all of their music has gotten me through the worst times of my life. One of the few bands whose music I feel completely "understands" me in a weird way. They also have written like 95% of the good breakdowns in hardcore and metal music.

our EP that's out now is kinda meh imo, but the songs we are writing now are beyond comparison. for better or worse, I can't think of any band to compare it to which makes me happy.
I also make experimental electronic music under the name JILL SANDWICH which is also on facebook. I'm forcing myself to release an EP by the end of the year. it's influenced by artists like World's End Girlfriend, Xiu Xiu, and other sample-based experimental artists.
