Im sick of Kirby/Fox/Falcon lol. I just had to play something different. Pikachu was a char i actually messed around with quite a bit before but it was mostly just for gits and shiggles but I picked him up more seriously recently.

a while back me and a friend realized pikachu can super wavedash off of Fox's jab so we messed around with that a lot lol.

Superwavedash to Taunt, SHIELD CANCEL, THEN JUMP OUT OF IT CUS I CAN!

Yeah but at least Pikachu can jump out of shield

I wish i could play yoshi. Like, I know exactly how all his moves work, i understand yoshi as a character but I just cant seem to do it.

Now PIKACHU on the other hand, there's a character I just randomly decided was awesome lol.

I'd support it. I don't know if you're the best yoshi, (I honestly don't know who else is good with yoshi) but from those vids you definitely have an advanced grasp of the character.

I'd support you, definitely, you seem to know what you're doing. My advice: get some more vids up, if you're gonna be declared awesome enough to have your own advice thread, then you're gonna have to have evidence of proclaimed awesomeness. Post some more vids and prove that you deserve your own advice thread. That's my recommendation to you.

hey man out of curiousity, what brand of editing software to you have?

i bought an expensive one but recognized some of the effects as similar to the ones in yours so i'm wondering. (I got the pinnicale ver. 14. had to save up for a while for it.)

also may i suggest using the song "Dark Lord Ganondorf" from TP for the Linguini video if you make it? if you do i'm so hyped lol. i am taking into consideration that linguini has music he'd like but if he doesn't... well it's Ganondorf's BATTLE theme hahaha.

seanthedonconsidine recommended to me that I release my video as a private release for review by a selected group 'cause he doesn't want to see me flamed. Now I did pick pretty mediocre clips for the second trailer, but as I have self-esteem problems I've been thinking that this wouldn't be too bad an idea.

If so, I'd be honored for you to be one of the people to review it, though you'd have to friend me on youtube first lol.

Not that I'll quit if it's bad (What I have so far is at least well edited and has intelligently selected [and good] combos from what close friends have told me) but really I don't know if I could take people flaming me over something I'm not twisting their arms to watch in the first place.

yeah, i've just gotten used to using fsmash, i dont think its bad, and it seems pretty effective, seems to work well enough for me, but i should also learn how to use the ftilt, simply because that move has less lag, so in case i misjudge their height, my edgeguard is not screwed by some ending lag :/

i'd love to try, once i get nail these ATs i'm good. when im at my best i already play smart, and i do pretty well, but my ATs are not reliable yet :/

yeah i personally never liked playing mew2 dittos, although i dont mind watching them :/ its kinda odd.

yeah im getting better at that. would you recomend fsmash or ftilt to edgeguard falco/fox illusion? im getting pretty good at beating it back with fsmash, but perhaps ftilt would be better cuz it has less lag??

yeah i'm working on training myself to charge shadowball often. when you djc shuffle fairs, do you press up on the analog stick, or do you tap x/y twice? interesting, you dont use the c-stick? i hear more and more players who avoid it, does it have more lag/unresponsiveness or something lol?

i wouldn't mind taking the role of apprentice . i know all these questions make me seem like a novice (i just like gettin advice from those who are better then me), but i'm not too bad wit mew2, i just don't have all the technicalities down perfectly. i'd love to help bring mew2 up to low tier, i think if you use him to his full potential he could maybe be top of low tier/bottom of mid tier :/ no i dont think taj will be the exception, with people like you, iori, and hell maybe even me, i think he will move up a bit. as soon as i get my hands on some recording equipment i'll upload you somethin, aight man?

hmmm... most of my problems come from lack of tech skill, which i suppose would come with practice. also i have problems with certain matchups (especially fast characters, ie cf, sheik and spacies) that require speedy movement and reaction time. my wavedashing in battle is sketchy, and i tend to mess it up in key moments. whether that be lack of practice or muscle memory, i dont know. i have problems with my recovery, what stage do you recomend practicing the ledge teleport on? also my edgeguarding can be somewhat unreliable. should i always try to have shadowball charged? do you recomend getting down shadowclaw shuffling with the c-stick or with analog and a button? lol i know, i have many questions.

im gettin back into it, i dont practice that much, and my tech skill is miserable, but when i play smart i usually do pretty good.
what do you recomend to get better? what do you do to get good? other then having taj tutor you of course lol, thats an unfair advantage that i dont have lol, taj doesn't usually come to minnesota (if your ever in the minneapolis area just pm me, itd be cool to hang out :D). what should i work on? what advanced techs should i perfect? what should i do to get to the next level lol?
