Therefore, a single thrust in his neck (concussive energy) results in decapitation and a win for Ganon. He has both the speed and power to make this happen. Or a thrust in his jaw or temple have the same result.

There was a fair bit of mental effort to go into it, para was getting onto it to...US I know what you're referring to. I have 2 conclusions:
Since turtles have their spine conected to their back, and their shell is made of keratin, it can be penetrated. A thrust in that area of his shell is instant paralysis.

He's a turtles. Most of their major organs are inside the shell. A thrust in the inside of the shell=death for Bowser.

It makes more sense when I think on it, but the concussive force transfered by Bowser (if allowed to be bi-pedal) with a slash and slice attack would still be significant... Then there is the issue of the fact Ganondorf could use the tip of the hilt the smack Bowser right between the eyes if he could get a good aim by using the sword as a polearm-type weapon. Which could kill him.
