Yea, it's pretty usable as a mindgame if you don't know the tell actually, that's the sole reason I can't force people to approach with it
(I secondary zelda/sheik). Basically how I used it was condition people to airdodge at the beginning and then bait the airdodge and hit them in the end lag (works for the other options too), that makes em dodge when it gets behind them, so hit them in the beginning, it's impossible to cover both no matter what move you use because of it's massive hitbox. But of course, using the tell you'll time it perfectly every time.
Once you get past Din's, it's a LOT easier with Marth because he reliably outspaces and outzones her, and he can poke to force her to approach. He really hard-counters her when played right. Which reminds me, Zelda's grabs come out in at least 10 frames, so if you're in shield you can always spot-dodge on reaction, that's why she has a terrible approach game actually.
