In retrospect; I'm slightly against the MMM. I think it's an unnecessary addition that makes the calculation incredibly more difficult (and data more difficult to keep track of) without adding much to the the credibility or accuracy of the list. All in all, though, still a fan of this. Agree...

I think housing might be a strong incentive; if people knew they had a place to stay I think they would be more inclined to come. Especially for a long weekend. And if you used EC rulesets :x

I understand why the 2 v 1's might make people uncomfortable, but that's sort of the reason for a counterpick anyway. If team A thinks they have the advantage in the air, it would be more possible (maybe) for them to win on hannenbow even if they find themselves in a 2v1 situation. Or, vice...

Which tournaments are being considered for these rankings, anyway? Is there any specific set of them?

I remember a time, a while back, when doubles tournaments regularly had certain stages allowed for counter-picking that were banned from singles. Onett and Hannenbo come to mind. Anyway, why did this practice fall out of being? I am looking at co-hosting a tournament soon and my partner...
