    Really? I have mixed feelings about my anti-Brawl posts/threads now: I still feel the same way, 110%, but they really aren't constructive and they don't change anything.

    I was going to do the Blog of the Year as well if I'd stuck around; it'll be really great to see how that turns out.

    Yeah, I have. I'm troubled by the sudden explosion in religious threads, and I've considered posting something about it, but that would be inappropriate. Basically, I would say use this litmus test when deciding to keep something open/closed: is there a reasonable expectation that the thread will INEVITABLY lead to violations of the Global Rules? A "maybe" isn't good enough to close a blog; they're different from other threads. There's a higher burden of proof to show that a blog/topic will lead to flames and spam, but if you truly believe that it will, lock away. You made a good call by demanding that one of the blogs not become "PS3 vs. 360", because that would have definitely led to flames. Try to exercise that same kind of judgment in all of your decisions, and you'll be fine.

    To be honest, no users will probably ever both clicking "News". After all, clicking "Compete" is useless thanks to the death of the friend finder, and "Wiki" is lame now that it isn't in our hands anymore. And "Network" is so out-of-date.

    Yeah, that top banner is kind of lame. :/

    Yeah, I noticed that a while back as well. It was a great blog because it was a copy+paste of an AIM convo, and how I type on AIM is more stream of consciousness than what you'll see from most people.
