Yeah I actually would be trying to hit someone off the stage with a banana but I'd usually miss. Bananas are so great though. xD

Cool. I sometimes play as White Marth, though Crimson Marth is my favorite. I play as Green Zelda mostly, but I'll really use any color.

I also use Snake (white color), King Dedede (pink color), and Wolf (white color). And I'm trying to learn Falco (yellow color), but it's not going fantastic unfortunately.

I play for fun, though I have intentions to get stronger and enter tournaments. I have a dream of being the best Zelda player there is. It won't be easy, but I would like to try it.

I'm nice, though just warning you, I have a short-temper at times XD. Anyway, I hope to Brawl you soon. Perhaps in a few minutes after I update the brackets in my tournament.

Alright. I'll get over it, right after I say these things (which aren't offensive or angry, just harmless thoughts):

I get the whole age thing. At the time, I did not know how old you were, and so in no way did I mean to offend you in that way, so forgive me if I did. I merely wanted to give you advice and express my feelings on the situation (in which I already apologized for).

Using projectiles like that is called Camping. Projectiles are to either help an approach, or to ruin your opponent's. A character like Mario for example, relies on his fireballs to help his approach since he can't approach well without it. And a character like Snake, who is nothing but projectiles, will obviously be using them to help him. Camping is a legitimate move and you will see it at higher levels of play. If you plan on going that high, then you'll have to get used to that. Not being harsh or offensive, I'm just being realistic with that. And believe me when I tell you that I'm incredibly tame compared to other people when it comes to Camping (most others do it A LOT more).

The point I was trying to make about the "pissing your opponent off" thing is that no high level player likes to lose to a roll spammer (not saying I'm high level since I'm not, but I'm talking about high level players in general).


However, the more I talk and think about this, the dumber I feel. I should never have fallen for that tactic in the first place. So it was really just stupidity on my part and I just want to bang my head on the wall repeatedly.

So what's say we just stamp on this whole situation and start from the beginning (any additional comments you have about what I said would be accepted)? Anyway...

I've been editing this message for a while now and have not come up with anything to say that won't come out completely wrong and make me sound like a douchebag. So I'll just be brief and as gentle as possible:

1) Not everybody's the same. There are those who say "Oh, spamming? Whatever let's have fun anyway." And there are those that say otherwise. Unfortunately, I fall under the latter category.

2) I was harsh, I'll admit it. My anger got the better of me and I posted without thinking. And for that I apologize. However, my point still stands: I hate roll spamming and really advise you not to do it. Not just against me, but against anyone. It won't help you improve, and it will more than likely just piss your opponent off.

3) I've always said you have a good Marth. And I still do.

4) Just out of mere curiosity, what's your age have to do with this? I'm 17...so now what?

5) That nonsense you posted in the pool room is grating on my nerves. You posted barely hearing my side of the story (and apparently not knowing what Roll Spam is). And then even going as far as to say I "cussed a bit". WTF was that about?

And that's all I have to say...

I was upset, but not because you were winning. I can handle that. What I can't handle is losing to noobish tactics like roll spamming. And the reason I've never complained about it before is because your Marth (being pretty much the only one of your characters that I face) doesn't have that problem. So what's to complain about?

You play Marth fairly well, but you play Kirby and Diddy like a noob. Why do I say that so bluntly, because you need a reality check. "I know I can play good." Seriously, you have no idea how noobish that sounded. Rolling constantly doesn't classify as playing good. Ask anybody with genuine skill and they will tell you the same thing.

Yeah, it's just a game, and sure it's supposed to be fun. But not everyone has fun when they're opponent is playing like a noob.

I was enjoying myself, but I was getting slightly frustrated when your moves kept overriding mine even though we did the same move at the same time. Like when I would be offstage and you would follow me and fair me, I would be trying to fair you to stop you, but no luck And then there went my stock.

I was affected by the lag too, so we were relatively even. And considering we were both Marth, we both were affected rather badly XD

If you noticed, I was very determined to defeat your Marth with mine. Mainly because for some reason, the game seemed to favor your fairs more than mine. Meaning that even though we both threw them out at the same time, only yours connected. :/ But after finally taking two games, I was satisfied


Just wait until I get a new controller. Then I'll be back at my prime (which isn't much admittedly )

Well I can't help the shooting. Ramen says I should camp more with Pit, Mario I don't know how to use so I was clueless, and Wolf's lasers are just fun especially when you b-reverse 'em

Marthage has been teaching me some Marth here and there but I've been kinda out of practice with him. I think your Marth is better than mine, regardless of who won the dittos (Marth dittos are weird that way), so I'd like to learn a thing or two from him.

Marth is my...um...fifth best character. First is Zelda, then Sheik, then Pit, then Wolf, then Marth...so yeah fifth. Definitely one of my better characters.

And speaking of Wolf, it sounded like my Wolf you were talking about when you said the shooting and hopping around thing XD

I had a lot of fun as well. So many dittos and epic matches. Tonight was not the night for DK though...for both of us

Yeah, I really enjoyed those games too. I've fought ricky too a while ago; he was better than me then but I don't know about now.

If you're willing to receive some advice, here's some. You roll a little too much. Match by match I was able to predict you rolling towards me or behind me and punish. If you want specific character advice (namely on ZSS and Samus) just talk to me. :D

I think I'd actually enjoy going through and unlocking all the characters again, but collecting all the songs and stickers again would be a pain... and clearing all the event matches on Hard, that took me a long time >_>

You may have noticed our series of matches that there was a dichotomy: One in which I was riding a train, and the other were I wasn't (even when I did win.) Once again, I fell prey to the concept of taking the matches as a joke, especially when I should have been playing Marth or DK throughout. Jiggs is not a main or a 2ndary of mine, and no opponent I face should win a match just because I refuse to focus on the game. In other words, I shouldn't play down to anyone.

I apologize again for that, and here's hoping should I play you again, I am not as disrespectful. :embarrass
