Hey, I have both Dissdia and Dissidia 012. Should I just skip the first one and go straight to the second one? Like is it like Street Fighter, or should I really play the original first?

I've watched my fair share. Namely Death Note, Bakemonogatari, and Code Geass. I only follow the Shippuden manga nowadays.
