    You also help out your friend from getting gimped thanks to your many jumps and strong aerials (you can knock him back up if he's going too low and return safely). AND, with the added option of a 0>death from Kirby (kirbicide>footstool) and an ally to make sure opponents fall for the trap, matches suddenly got a lot faster!

    He's a better character in teams than singles, and multi-purpose. An MK + Kirby team is great too, having 2 people with multiple jumps and great recoveries, who can gimp like no one's business, is definitely something to fear.

    Kirby in teams, eh? Kirby's actually VERY good in teams, and I'm not saying it out of bias, I'm saying it because he really IS a better character in teams than singles. His flaw is that he gets outranged by projectiles or disjoints, but during a teams match, those dangers disappear since the whole scene is so chaotic people have to pay attention to both opponents at the same time. Kirby can punish very hard with his up-angled fsmash and sideB, both which should kill fairly early and from your ally grabbing an opponent, no mater who they are. And depending on your teammate, you can take their power and do a double-team, like double tornado, double grenades, double lasers... His survivability, which was already decent (I regularly live to around 140-150%, given of course momentum cancelling and good DI), is now buffed thanks to your ally helping you out when you need it (avoiding unnecessary damage).

    I applied in March, so dontcha worry about me. And like you, I'm pretty knowledgeable about a lot of characters, but only really truly "smart" about Kirby and ZSS. Heck, not to toot my own horn, but I think out of all the people in SWF, I'm the most knowledgeable Brawl Kirby main around. ;)

    And you don't HAVE to be an amazing player to get in there. I played against a couple of backroomers when I went to Pound4 (I'm from PR, so it was an out-of-country experience), and most of the ones I played were nothing special at all. They're just smarter than your average poster around the boards, is all. ;)

    Hey, I think I'm known for making some pretty crappy jokes around my modded forums. It's cool having fame for something that isn't being a troll or spammer! And, although I'm a decent enough player in Melee, I'm much more knowledgeable and skilled in Brawl, so I'm trying to see if I can get in there. The curiosity of what goes on in there has to be satisfied eventually.... I'll try and get a pink name soon, as well! I'm still a temp debater (and been one for forever now), stopped posting cuz it got immensely inactive and the only topics being discussed were kind of... Unappealing.
