You must not have done this before. The first stage played is agreed upon by both opponents! I also don't know your cp or ban, so even if I wanted to play you right now, I couldn't.
How can I play you when I don't even know you cp or ban? Also, what stage are we playing first? Do we have to stage strike or do we both agree on (I would want FD as my first stage choice)? Are you sure you've done this before?
So, what is your reason for not wanting to discuss prior to a match again. Because the "I DON WANNA" isn't exactly the best one out there.
Okay, let's say that you and I are playing in a match, and you just happen to stop playing. I have the right to officially call a DQ on you unless I deem your excuse worthy. Without a channel to communicate, any stoppage of play on your part results as a win for me. The converse is true as well. Also, should you happen to pick an improper cp or one of my bans, that would be a DQ. If you pick another character in the middle of a set, that's a DQ. All of these are DQ offenses, so don't think I am pulling this out of my @**. Kthx.
If you feel that talking to me for two seconds on xat will kill you, have it your way. I ban Battlefield and CP Smashville. I would like to matches to test the lag. If the lag is too much, then we'll ask for a coin flip. I hope for your sake that you remember all of this, because it would suck to lose out just because you were stubborn.
We talk to each other prior to the match, and also to have a method to call a match a dq if necessary (e.g. if someone just stops playing in the middle of a match).
Homes, this isn't chatting over a match, it's setting up the match prior to playing.
I have played way too many tourneys both offline and online to not talk with my opponent to see what the setup is prior to a match.
I use aim, gchat, and msn chat.
Do you have a form of IM? I want a continuous channel of communication open to discuss details before, during, and after a match.

Since it was your homie instead of your partner, I WON'T count that as the match. Brayan showed up, so I think me and him should get the win if that is cool with you.
A friend of mine that wanted a Brawl. If you want to count that as the match then go ahead, but otherwise I think I'll just withdraw from the tourney. My partner was the no-show so my team should be the one that is penalized for it.
