yes. I didn't even like melee that much before I knew about lcancel and wavedash and I by no means ever played it competitively. Rolling seemed like the only way to space properly, especially against an f-tilting Luigi. It was like a whole new game after seeing guys like Isai and PC play...

When approaching a samus with falco I tend to get caught with her upB more than I'd like. I sometimes space just short of her with an empty hop after lazer approaching or with a backward waveland to get her to miss so i can counter, but other than that, if I try to approach as I would other...

How soon (after your caught in it) do you have to smash DI out of the upB so you can escape and fastfall effectively? Also, is it possible to spot dodge/grab with a proper lcancel or are you gonna get caught in it regardless (assuming a good samus)?
