Yeah, the first match is always the one where I make the most mistakes too (Because of the lowered response time on WiFi).


How do I get my shield up so fast? Well, I hit the shield button! xD Which in my case would be L or R. I usually use R Because of the increased control benefits of using it rather than L, which can affect how you use the control stick in some cases. xD And did you know... *Rambles on about obvious stuff that so boring that you wouldn't want to listen to it.* ... and that's how you use the A button. ^.^

LOL! Realistically though, I sometimes hold down R when I'm about to hit the ground and through pulling my shield out... IDK if that helps... but IDK... I practice a lot with just shielding, and so I know a lot about the general physics of the shield. IDK if that helps but as I said before, I'm a very defensive player, and I practice defensive moves a lot (Like shielding).
And maybe it's just the characters that I'm using. Maybe they have a faster recovery time from attacks and jumping... I'm not really sure...
I mean, there's no real trick that I do. I don't hit some button combo. I sometimes fast fall, and hold the shield. But I'm not really sure. xD You've stumped me on this one! ?_?

But yeah, good games! We'll have to do that again!

BTW, for dodging Pit's arrows, I've seen people just shield roll into them until they get to Pit, then wait for him to attack them with their shields up, and then grab him or quick attack him when Pit is in his recovery period. But that method can be broken.
But when you jumped over them and attacked me from the air, that usually caught me by surprise, or at least I didn't know how to change up my movements. xD

I figured: You always spam projectiles with Link and TLink, so I need to find someone with faster projectiles and can reflect things... Pit! But then you pulled out your Pit, and I didn't know your Pit strategy, but you knew mine! xD Very sly! =D

Those matches were intense and AWESOME!

I started getting kind of tired at the end though. My eyes were drying out. That's why I was just sitting there for a while! xD
