Yeah I have them, but I tend to save them for when my opponent is in a prime position. They usually rack up about 50% when I do them right.

And yeah, lucas has some amazing kills, I agree. I'm pretty sure it was scoot... I gave him a newfound fear of PK freeze *evil grin*

But yeah, i've also had times where the opponent has been offstage, i've PKT1 them into the bottom of the stage and they just hit it, fall down and lose a stock.

But some of the best kills i've had are with my brother. Last tournament, it stretched out so long that we had to make a train that we'd miss if we won the next match. We lost the first game, then won the second, and in the third, we both just went "Ahh, we can't afford to WIN THIS!" and just started running around and pretty much spamming up-smash. We lost, but we got some pretty hilarious kills in doing so. If we'd had more time I think we could have won it and secured second place in doubles last tournament hehe.

Ness also has some insane-crazy kills that no-one expects though. For instance, today when i was versing dre, he tends to use bowser's slam attack (I think it's down-special) to get to the edge when he's high up vertically. I was ness in one of our games, and used PK flash, put it under him, and just as he started going down, let go of B. I don't know how I managed to hit him, but the result of such luck was truly spectacular . It's been recorded, so when it comes out i'll show that instance to you.

To an extent, yeah. Both have strengths and weaknesses. Ness is my fast runner with a huge damage input quickly. He can master some insane combos where you can rack up 60% + in an instant. Lucas, on the other hand, racks it up a little more slowly, but can afford to be a little more mind-gamey both on and off stage. He's especially good for early finishes if the opponent is in the right spot and manage some pretty spectacular and yet rediculous kills.

That's alright I mained lucas and ness before seeing the tier list. If I thought much of the tier list I might not main them, but I don't care if the tier list says they're horrible, i'll just be there trying to change that. I guess I do care about it then because I want them higher on it.

I used to main Ness in 64 (and when I played melee at my first tournament - yes, I hadn't played melee until then, shoot me - I also mained him), and then in brawl I picked him up after using lucas (my substitute at the time) and thought, "Oh no! He's not anything like he was in 64! His bat doesn't scream, his PK thunder doesn't go nearly as far... They've nerfed him!!! >.<" so I went back to lucas who i thought was a bit closer to the 64 ness. After a while I slowly picked ness back up and he is a close secondary to Lucas.

Ahh that sounds great! Thanks btw about dre, he was definitely a challenge and had me on edge, i just managed to air-break most of his grabs, which is probs what saved me most of the time. When the vids come out I'll be able to show you. :-D
