Well look at it this way- there are 17 types and hundreds of moves. So if we get two of each type we have a roster close to brawl's size and and two pokemon of the same type can at least afford to have different specials since there are so many moves to choose from.

I like the way you think! The only game that would top that is a ssb inspired Pokemon fighting game. I've wanted that ever since ssb64. I remember a hacking team a while back, ]syntax[ something (they were texture hacking way before it was widespread), was working on a pseudo one. I wonder whatever happened with it...

Anyway, I have moderator rights for the whole Super Smash Bros. 4 board, which includes the general, and character discussion forums. Everywhere else, I'm a normal user.

I support both K. Rool and Dixie, but if I had to choose, I'd want K. Rool > Dixie. I'm all for Geno, if possible. SMRPG was, and still is an excellent title, as is Geno an excellent character. I like Roy, but in all honesty, I really don't believe he'll be returning. At best, Fire Emblem will be Marth / Ike / Krom, with Roy being a possible costume for Ike or whatever. Pit will certainly return, because of his latest 3DS title, and the fact that Project Sora / Sakurai are in development with the game. Would you happen to know. . . Say, the top 5 "most wanted" characters, assuming there are lists out there?

. . . Maybe you're just not used to traditional fighters as much (as in executions)? Arcade sticks help, if you don't do so already (especially for SF). With time and training, most things aren't too hard within themselves, just the advanced set-ups / continuations is what you have to get used to.

Ah, I find UMvC3 to be so fun. It's very "lame", as in how ridiculous some of the stuff is, but what can you do? It's Mahvel, baby!

I only mod the Super Smash Bros. 4 board, so I can't do your request if it's outside that very board. But remember that I'm still a rookie here, so don't be afraid to ask a more experienced mod to handle your problems.

Actually, I thought SFII as a whole was fairly simple, considering. Compared to Third Strike, anyway. I just didn't know how to play.

The old Guilty Gear titles play nothing like the current, though. El oh el. Very technical and fast-paced.

Back when MvC3 released, I trained a lot for competition and what have you, but fell off come UMvC3. I'm still good, but no more tournament or anything. . . Maybe in the future, who knows? My original team consisted of Wesker / Akuma / Sentinel. I also have a BnB Doom, and (as I mentioned) want to pick up Dormmamu and Storm to evolve my team (with Wesker).

Yea was the ice world rushed? It just felt really incomplete compared to rest of the game. Even if they left the enemies alone they should've added SOMETHING of a level to it like you said. Literally the only thing there was the canon and a white bomb.

The goombas always get the short end of the stick. If they developed the next goomba partner like they did tippi we'd be in good shape! Koopa was a real bro and yea he needed more screen time too. Vivian was pretty much the only side kick who was well developed.

The ice land was so annoying especially because you had to go throug so many enemies to get there and then there was like one thing to do there at a time.

Multiplayer would be kinda fun but it'd devolve into who has more health items/FP items or abilities.

I played SFII about a month ago, actually. One of my friends owns the actual arcade, as well as SF Alpha 3. As I've said, I never really learned the SF mechanics, but my friend was showing me the goods with Balrog and Dhalsim. El oh el!

Yeah. . . I still can enjoy Brawl, but not competitively anymore, I don't think. And by that, I mean I likely won't ever enter again. Fun fact; My team partner back then was Melito, a top Toon Link of the time we played, and the lowest we placed was 3rd.

I like to make the comparison of SFIV and Third Strike being what Brawl became of Melee. I do have local friends that do play SF competitively though, so one day, I will learn. . . One day. El oh el.

I'm very much into Guilty Gear (excited to play the new update). I did play Blaz Blue, but fell off since they had constant patch updates to characters. Now I'm just basic, and don't play anymore. Had a great stretch with TvC, enjoy playing UMvC3 (although I fell off of practice), and occasional SFxT.

I didn't fall off of Smash completely, but I did to the Brawl competitive scene. I was a pretty high-level player back in 2009 / 2010, entering tournaments, etc. But, I was inconsistent in placings. The reason being (no johns, just facts) was because of Metaknight. I lost to a Mk just about every tournament. I can recall one that I didn't play against him, and placed 5th (high level players including a defeat to IcyLight, losing 2-1 to Bloodcross (Falco), and losing 2-1 to Bizkit (Snake)). Then the very next tournament I attended, I lost to (literally) a random Mk, bye round, then lost to Hayoto. Case in point, it was getting annoying. Not losing to Mk, just alway playing against them, because the metagame completely deteriorated, and continues to deteriorate because of one character.

I did consider coming back to the scene, just for fun, but idk. . . We'll see. Haven't tourneyd since GROAT (included ally, allied, atomsk, etc), which I placed 17th at (should've been at least 13th, but that's another story, xD). SSB64 is the best Smash game ever.

SFII and SFIV? I consider myself a pretty seasoned player at fighting games, and of course a big fan, but to this day, I still do not play the SF series. . . I just don't like the mechanics. To be fair, I do like SF3: Third Strike, but I never practiced any.
As for Smash, I don't really play much anymore. Just here and there, because I do still like the series, of course.
