Hello, I am a video game enthusiast and have been for over 3 decades!
Online I go by Johnknight1 and John (not technically my real name lmao).
Super Smash Bros. is one of my favorite video game series ever, and I have been a fan of it since I first played Smash 64 the day it came out at my cousins!
I am also a mega-fan of many other video game series, such as The King of Fighters, Tekken, Marvel vs. Capcom, Soulcalibur, Street Fighter, Metal Gear, Counter-Strike, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Fire Emblem, Pokémon, Donkey Kong Country, Civilization, Super Mario, Mega Man, Mega Man Battle Network, EarthBound, Chrono, Metroid, Animal Crossing, Final Fantasy, Halo, Devil May Cray, God of War, Baldur's Gate, The Witcher, and Grand Theft Auto.
I am also the fan of individual games such as Team Fortress 2, Devil May Cry 3, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Telltale Games' The Walking Dead, Zelda 1/A Link to the Past/A Link Between Worlds/Breath of the Wild, Battlefield 4, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, and Overwatch.
I have low level competitive experience in a variety of titles (Street Fighter II Turbo+Super Turbo/III/IV Vanilla and Console Edition/V Season 1/Alpha 2/Alpha 3, Marvel vs. Capcom 2/3, every Smash Bros title + Project M, and Metal Gear Solid 2 speed running). For a few years I was the undisputed #1 Madden 3v3 player on Xbox Live (sadly that never meant much, and EA doesn't support that online mode). I also was a top level Heroes of the Storm player for a while (my favorite game ever).
Currently in 2024 I am mainly focused on my career. Too old and got too little time for as many games anymore sadly. But at least life is good now!
