I agree that many (read: most) of the customs have no current advantage over the defaults, but the main purpose in researching them is to be prepared if they receive buffs at any point down the line that may bring them a suddenly integral usage into gameplay. That way Sonic mains aren't caught...

I definitely think the Stage Builder will be Wii U exclusive, but I could also see it be the type of thing available to those who purchase a New 3DS, kind of like the color dungeon for Link's Awakening, or the Advance Ring for the oracle games, just to move people on a system upgrade.

I don't know who composed the main theme for this version of Smash, but it's worth noting that Brawl's Main Theme was done by Nobuo Uematsu.

I don't think stages would have quite the personality they do now without hazards, and I voted with that opinion. That being said, I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest with the option existing, as everyone enjoys games their own way.

I thought ROB was a character designed specifically for Brawl.

I agree. For example, Yasunori Mitsuda is listed for Chrono Trigger, but he did do arranging work for Brawl, as well as Mario Party work.

The comparisons are fantastic! Donkey Kong's hair is definitely benefiting from Smash 4 Wii U.

I enjoy playing Smash more with items than without items.

I believe Lanky Kong should be the next representative of the Donkey Kong franchise in Smash.
