  • Umm....lets see...1-10, X1-x8 Command Mission, all the Zero's, all the ZX's. I used to have a lot more in the past, but circumstances made me part with them T_T
I don't need luck so much as a miracle. Most of my friends and I are fairly even in skill when it comes to smash, but I tend to be lower (except in staying alive). Most have mastered the common tactics with their chars and many, if not all, the ATs. And then there's Nasanieru (the friend of mine whom you brawled that one time) who combines my survivability with mastery of the high tier chars, ATs and highly adept usage of every char. Of course this is just Melee; I might do a bit better by comparison on Brawl, if it gets played.

Internet's screwy so I think I'll get off early tonight.
    Later.
Just reminding you, not insisting you watch them tonight.

Sorry for not really being on yesterday. My friends are planning a smashfest later this week and I want to battle one of them in pokemon and spent most of yesterday designing a new team (desire to do so came out of nowhere, especially since I already have two teams planned), and it's still not finished.

I think I've said this before: I haven't really played any console games before GC era and a very small number of PS1 games.
    Might check that out.

Remember animes are on AS tonight: FMA:B (ep 6) @12am, Bleach @1, Inuyasha (ep 4?) @1:30, Bebop from 2-3.
Not really what I meant by "the way they have things setup," but I cannot think of how to word it better at the moment.

I just found a way for you to save your g4 Bishop and your kingside Pawns and Rook, but you lose at least one other piece in the process. In other words, you will lose something on my next turn, but it's up to you as to what it is.
Where they keep things like controllers and stuff depends on how they have things setup. By the sounds of things, they either don't have any (which is most likely) or they keep them behind the counter/in the back to prevent theft.

It's your turn. Which do you value more: your Bishop on g4 or your Pawn on g7 (and likely it's fellow undeveloped kingside pieces as well)?
I don't think any GameStop has new first party GC controllers.
If your GS is anything like mine, the used GC controllers (or any used GC accessory for that matter) will be either with the GC games or behind the counter.
Are you referring to new ones? GameStop only sells first party and their own brand when it comes to new ones, but used you might be able to find other second or third party ones.
That sucks. I can always find used controllers. Whether they're first party for GC or not tends to change, but I can find used accessories every trip there.
    Good luck when you do.

You really should try to get some first party ones. Even used ones tend to be better than second or third party ones.

    btw it's your turn again.
Just check out the guide to learn all the useful tricks. That's how I learned the more advanced stuff I know.

If only I could win against them more. Hopefully you only got first party GC controllers; all the others suck and wear out easy and quick. The Classic is harder for me because the face buttons (ABXY) are arranged like the DS which I'm not used to for smash. And changing what the buttons do just screws me up for when the game requires the use of specific buttons for non-battle actions (resetting a match, menu navigation, etc.)
I think I'm just too slow with my aiming since I kill eveything but the grub-like ones that come out of the ground by raining pikmin on them, usually on their backs. The trick on the GC version it to twirl the C-stick in tight little circles really fast so all the pikmin swirl close around Olimar. Wii version swarming: hold down on d-pad and the pikmin will line up in the direction of the cursor (basically you can't swarm the group one way while throwing the other).

I'm going to take a break from pikmin this weekend and work on building one or more of my teams for pokemon. My friends are getting together next week and I want a team ready so I can battle one (or more) of them. Plus I'll try to get used to the Classic controller for if they play brawl (stupid GC controllers aren't always responding properly)
For the most part the Wii version is the same as the GC version. The only real important differences are the loss of the C-stick, for faster throwing and easier swarming, and the lack of yellows dropping bomb-rocks when whistled. There's a variation to the faster throwing that used the C-stick on GC that makes use of being able to aim at a different place than where Olimar's looking which I've already got down. The problem for me is that I don't think I'm killing the enemies fast enough, I'm picking too many pikmin at the wrong times, or I'm not flowerizinfg them with nectar (also slightly changed in Wii - can't do this with all 100 anymore, or at least I can't).

What, just Wolf? I thought you hated all the spacies.

Started the 9-Day Challenge last weekend and remembered why my game was nowhere near as fast: I cannot get 4 parts on Day 2. I can get 3 and get to the fourth, but I'm not fast enough to get it back to the ship.
Huh, a reason not to use FireFox.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how much dodging was done and how important the interviews are.
Try reloading the page? It should be near the top; above the board should be an ad, then above that should be the box "Game Controls" and inside that is the "Move" button.

Maybe it was punishment for dodging the previous ones.
    I agree 100%.

Where'd I put the move trees for our game *goes searching*
I feel like I'm too much on the defensive in the game against twiz. I feel like I'm waiting for his move to be able to do anything, even plan. I think it'll end up being a long game unless one of us screws up.

208 questions? For what? I'm confuised.
I still say Poppycock got robbed.

Don't forget about our game. You've still got a little over two days time remaining so no real rush yet.
Did you ever get a chance to look at my game with twiz?
Poppycock got fourth, Fighting gravity third, Jackie Evancho second, and Michael grimm first. Like I said, unfortunately that's the exact opposite order I wanted.

Of course only Pokemon. What else did you think I was referring to?
My tier list? I already said that they finished in "the exact opposite order that I wanted."

Serebii is always a great resource for anything about the games.

I might check that out sometime.
They beat Poppycock though, to my disappointment.

Hang on and I'll link you to the pokewalker pages on Serebii so you can learn more.

EDIT: Pokewalker page which lists all the details about using the device.
Pokewalker courses page detailing all the pokemon and items available on each course
Defying Gravity? Do you mean Fighting Gravity?

Just remember that pokemon can only gain one level per trip into the walker. After you've "walked" enough steps for them to level up, any extra steps count toward happiness. If you want to use it to gain more than one level, you have to return the poke to the game, then put it back into the pokewalker again.
I'm more bummed about them finishing in the exact opposite order I wanted. Poppycock was robbed.

Before AGT I had about 2000 steps, buy the end of the show I had 10000, and by midnight I had 19484. So close to 20000, 18000 of which would have come from just 4 hours.
At least you didn't spoil the fact that they finished in the exact opposite order I wanted.

Music is a great way to help generate steps on the pokewalker. I shook it to the beat of all the music on AGT tonight (actually it was more like nearly the entire show) and accumulated nearly 8000 steps in that time.

    Later.
Sorry for delayed response, had to wait for commercial.

Guess I have to be careful about asking you about TV shows from now on.

I would have preferred Prince Poppycock to have won over Michael Grimm, but nothing I can do about it.
    .................
Thanks a lot for the spoilers -_- Try not to forget about the time difference in the future.
There was no magician in the final four, but I'm pretty sure who you meant.
    *sees db's posts*
You guys still haven't finished your game @__@. I know you've got school, but jeez.

Did you watch the finale of AGT?
It's okay, I know how things can be. I do hope we can finish this this week though. :p

Oh yeah, lol. I think it was Yink who made this for me; it's still my fav avvie.
