  • Ah sorry another question. Do you c-stick all your aerials? I just recently learned you can c-stick them after getting used to using direction + A. I saw a video of Mango's button display and he used c-stick for his dairs.
Hey PP. I was listening in a little on the live stream today and they said falco has good anti-CC options. I just started playing falco recently and I was wondering what's a good way to deal with crouch cancelers. One of my friends crouch cancels when he's vs me and it gives me some trouble.
Yeah doing your best is all that matters. I'll be sure to watch any upcoming matches, keep up the good work.
PP you are my favorite pro! I even loved watching you play before I mained falco. I just love seeing those combos (I could name 2 of my favorite ones from 2 youtube videos). I hope to watch your play at more tourneys. Sorry if this is a little random, but keep up those combos.
Well he shouldn't considering you posted after all the posts he edited.

    I'm only sayin
It's pretty bad when you have wretched moderating posts in threads you frequent.

    :sadsheep:
There's also that whole thing about you being sick. I know even to this day there are people who say naw man, no johns for PP. Shroomed/Armada/Taj/Fly all won fair and square. Apparently ****** the community for 6 months meant nothing. So do what you do and make people remember why you are good lol.

PS. I'm starting to really despise the phrase no johns.
Not to take away anything from the players that I mentioned above, but come on now, there are "legitimate excuses" in this world.
OH ****!!!yeah I got kinda tight when people forgot about you in all their Apex 2012 predictions or hype talk on the last Melee State of the Game!!

I was like how do you not remember PP beat armada at Pound V lmfao!!
LOL...yeah I know what you mean. Well your birthday gift to yourself should be to win Rom 4/Apex 2012...get some revenge ;)
I mean if you were really asking yourself about the chibo question you need to reassess a few things...... =3

Also me and KK talk about... interesting things nowadays. I'm not even sure why it happens but its interesting LOL.

I'll tell you over AIM one day.
LOL don't worry bout the length all of it was a good read, all I wanted was an honest opinion. I'm not bothered by the length of your post.

xD Also I mean I'd love to talk to you about stuff. I used to talk to KK about melee all the time and expand our sheik game together. Seems like we stopped though for whatever reason. If you want to try to motivate me you're more than welcome to talk to me, we can talk about w/e doesn't have to be about smash. It can be about how much of an idiot Chibo is or w/e =3.

Also, I feel there is a much bigger reason for myself to lose motivation besides the community itself. I've been told by numerous players that I tend to underplay my game so I usually don't hype myself. Its also life factors atm, its just being a huge pain.
It does! I actually wasn't asking to help myself improve, but rather because I'm genuinely curious and well. You're one of the more sane and level headed top players LOL.

I find it funny how you would do your innovating in idle thought. Thats actually how I exploded onto my scene and placed a lot better than people expected in my first few tournies.

Same with secondaries. The main difference I feel is how we react to walls. You seem to take a step back while I try to expand on what I already know. Its an interesting idea I'm impressed with your motivation.

You really do deserve to be a top player haha, I am not even close to having a mentality such as yourself.

I sometimes feel like because I'm not a very hypish player I easily tend to lose motivation haha that sorta is lame. In any case all that was definitely very interesting, from the view of a player who literally lost all motivation lol.
Hey, Kevin I actually have a legitimate question for you, well I guess 2 part question.

Do you feel that your drive to get better and eventually become the best player in the world fuel you to become the top player you are today?

And if so, how did you overcome the inevitable walls you encountered? How were you able to keep that drive?

I was meaning to ask you a while ago but I forgot... until now!
Dude I've been trying to find recent vids of you on youtube and I can't D: Also plan on going to any tournaments soon? :)
hey PP if you have time would you mind Critiquing these sets for me? I saw some glaring ****s, but I know you'd be able to see lots of holes in my games that I myself can't even see. Please and Thank You. :)
yeah fox does **** and FUMI IS AND FOREVER WILL BE MY YOSHI HERO.

Also I'm assuming you saw what DA Wes had to say...lmfao at his callouts (I'm glad he's gonna start playing melee again though) I like how one samus legend is coming out of retirement and the other announces his near retirement, whenever that is.

Also Plup is **** from what I've seen, idgaf what anyone says (The guy is pretty damn good if he's taking games off of people like Linguini, Rock Crock, and Colbol/Hbox)

Also your marth is the sex.
Yeah Bombsoldier was amazing back in the day; I kinda wish that I played this game competitively during the golden era of melee where the Japanese scene flourished with talented players like CJ, Masashi, Bombosoldier, Aniki, Fumi (well he never came to the U.S. but you get the point). I've always wanted to play them, but I' m not really pinning my hopes on playing them at Apex (maybe CJ/Masashi and those two are kind of a stretch) especially since the Japanese scene is no where close to what it used to be. Yeah KDJ is still pretty good at this game. I actually loved his sheik, but like m2k's shift from marth to mostly sheik, kdj has done the opposite(going from sheik to mostly marth). I find that Ironic actually, while they both still play fox. I guess one could kinda draw the same argument for Mango's evolution from a puff main to a falco/fox main.
KDJ actually won the last Mass Madness hosted by Mattdotzeb, last weekend. I believe he went marth/fox/a little sheik if I'm not mistaken (I think he went sheik against MacD, don't quote me on that one). At least you'll be able to play him at Apex and lol if Alex Strife gets Ken to go to a tournament, he'd be like greatest TO of all time, if he isn't already lol.

Are there any like old school Japanese players that you'd like to play if they go to Apex?
aka....you destroyed his marth with falco/marth dittos. I think its a common trend among the old school players against like the new falco metagame.

Yeah I notice Azen doesn't play marth as much these days, except against Chilllin. Hopefully he'll get better at dealing with the new metagame, like PC. So who's next on your old school player list to play?
My guess would be KDJ right?
How did it feel to finally play Azen's marth?

I heard you and him were marth dittoing as well as doing some marth vs falco sets (friendlies)
Hey man, can you send me a message next time your on aim? Should be on for a while, would like to talk about manipulating techs.
