    You're my favorite Smasher Dr Peepee! Seeing you play was one of the reasons I picked up competitive Melee like four or five years ago. Finding out that one of the best Smash players of all time was from the exact same city as me was quite encouraging, and then the fact that your a Falco / Marth player like I was. Good luck in all your future endeavors! I hope that someday I can have the honor of playing you.

    What is the most important thing for someone to practice if they want to get better at Melee quickly? I find it daunting the number of things you need to learn. L-cancelling, movement options like wave dashing and dash dancing, out of shield options, character knowledge, matchup knowledge, knowing your move-set and combos.. .

    Break it down into one or two techniques a day. It feels like less and you see yourself get better so it's a lot of fun! Start with WD and then any other useful tech(probably SHFFL.)

    Hey Kevin, me and a large group of locals are starting to host large smash tournaments in Knoxville, TN. Our last tournament had around 35 entrants and the winner Josh (S0ft) took home over 300 dollars for winning melee and Project M.     A tip for ya, destroy her dins, when you respawn, priority one: use the invincibility to run through her traps. A Zelda without dins will rely on the teledash. Chase her down and punish. Talk to Zhime, I'm sure he'd be happy to play online with you.

    It's easy to install. GET IT!!! Be forewarned that Zhime got his start in online tournaments, lag will be no issue for him.

    I don't use rumble. I feel like it distracts me from the match when it is giving my brain information I don't need =p

    2. Lots of theory, lots of video watching, studying Bruce Lee. Practicing moving against a level 9 and not getting hit, but also developing movement tricks outside of that.

    Hey, congrats on the win at Apex 2014! Nearly 6-0'ing Mew2King was real hype, good stuff.

    I do gotta ask, though, did you consider signing up for P:M? Your Marth at TO9 was about the most surgical thing I've seen in Smash this side of Pro's Snake.

    well, you go find a venue first. see if the deal is favorable for time constraints and money so you don't have to have a huge success your first time. then start networking. you need to get people interested and have others recruit people in ways you can't do alone.

    other than that, you might be better off asking those more experienced or closer to you about the idea haha

    I heard you are willing to play with newer players. I live in florida and am finally getting a car. I'm going to travel for smash and develop myself to a great player, hopefully. What do you think about me travelling up to NC to play with you once I get more confident driving. I'm going to be travelling every weekend that college doesn't interfere with.

    I'm in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. And I know what you mean, some of it looks too showy and I'm afraid that there is going to be less and less tech skill as they make more games.

    I saw the set between you and Armada, I had to catch myself several times from yelling at my friggin computer haha!!
