And I completely understand, no worries. I went through a brief, but similar stage myself. It got to the point where I wanted to pick up Snake as a main, but that didn't work out well, and my Dedede just stayed better overall.
Wow, I didn't think it was that serious, but I can definitely see where you're coming from. I think I may be slightly guilty of that myself. But, being pretty much the only Dedede main in the tristate area, almost on the entire east coast, I have no one to rely on but myself, and I can't ask anyone for ehlp because I get the same response pretty much every time: "Pick another character." It is annoying, but the only thing I can do is keep moving forward and throwing Gordos to win matches.
It's good to see someone trying to move Dedede forward. Even if it's something minor, it could probably be used to find something bigger and better. Best of luck to you.
OK, I'm pretty sure someone has asked you this. how come you don't post in the Dedede Social anymore? I'm just curious.
Also, I know you saw those Apex results. Made it to bracket with 100% penguin, oh yeah. But then I lost to two MK's......sigh........I'm having a hard time sticking with my decision to stop going to tournies, but the whole MK thing is the only thing holding me back.

I play in friendlies the same way I play in tournament, except I suicide if the opponent accidentally kills themselves.
I don't like projectile spamming though. The only characters I use that can really do it are Sheik and R.O.B.
Eh, don't worry about it too much. I take Wi-fi as seriously as I can without ticking myself off.
I kinda know how you feel about maining a character that's been dropping in usefulness, Game & Watch's matchups continue to get harder. But I say main who you want; that's why I use Game & Watch and Ganondorf lol. I think DDD is a pretty good character though. I thought you were about to survive that DSmash from Game & Watch, with his fastfalling, your DI, and the BAir.
I didn't use Bowser much simply because I didn't want to; I should probably work on my secondaries (like Bowser) more though, they're fun. I'm just glad I got a good DAir in with him.
Good games, Your DDD is really good, the best I've faced. Your Marth is good too. I had to go for dinner.

That's why wanna test it. I believe you can buffer the Pivot Boost grab. GR>Usmash is very possible. Small step (Fox's has the best walking speed in game tied with Marth) and Usmash

Usmash and that's all that's needed XD. Grab>Pummel>GR>Pivot Boost Grab>Repeat until ready>GR>Usmash. -
