    Honestly, any argument in that thread that claimed Sonic should be higher, or SBR-this, SBR-that, should have been spam.

    I posted mine on page 44 long before you ever did.

    My reasoning was that everyone's putting too much stock in tournament results when some of them could be due to matchup inexperience against Sonic.

    Nice Idea, I'm not sure how easy it would be to enforce solo IC and 1 stock metaknight on an online tourney though. I might try no pikimin Olimar.

    Infzy said he got an infraction from Mic for 'replying to spam' ("come on steak it up"). He probably looked around the "newer"/active multi-page threads to see if any of them were spam and decided yours was worth closing.

    yar, marth is tough, especially with that tipper. i usually just go game and watch against him, which works out a bit better. olimar, i dunno, i just have some sort of mental block about him or something...i'm getting better against him though. who's your hardest matchup? besides MK, naturally :)

    heh, two of my best smash partners play marth and olimar, so maybe that's why i think they're so hard...i dunno, i can't ever seem to approach my friend's olimar without getting grabbed/pikmin-ed (he plays very campy, and he's very good), and any kill i get on marth is always a gimp, he's easy to kill offstage, but onstage, in the air, i have lots of trouble with him. especially because he plays marth so defensively, and against marth, i'd like to play my sonic defensively too...usually i get impatient and self-destruct.

    don't worry about sounding conceited, i'm pretty sure over half of the people on smashboards is full of themselves! but you probably do have one of the best sonics, honestly, i mean, not too many people play as him because he's so "bad," plus, your vids are pretty impressive. i kind of tend to do the same killing strategy that you do, which is, i try not to die, and wait for a good opportunity to kill my opponent. i tend to try to gimp a bit more than you, which sometimes results in good things, and sometimes in my death! and yeah, i don't play many falcos, but i think he's a bit overrated, though the laser spam is SO annoying. my toughest opponent with sonic (barring MK of course) is marth for sure, followed by olimar.

    you've also inspired me to practice on corneria, can't believe uthrow killed falco, though i guess he is pretty light vertically.

    i couldn't find your vids on youtube either...but i watched some of mr. 3000's recent matches, he is too good. i also saw tenki's vid vs. a snake, snake seems pretty beatable as long as you can keep him from controlling the stage too much, i'd definintely ban battlefield!

    also, do you have any vids of your sonic? i don't have any of mine since i don't have a recording device, which sucks. i think some vids from the tournament i went to this weekend should be going up soon, but i went game and watch for most of the matches...i should've gone sonic against snake though, i just read that matchup thread, and sonic seems to do ok.

    heh, right, they do seem pretty nice, unlike some other boards...my secondary is game and watch, and those boards are just scary! oh, and my name is from legend of zelda. when i was in, i dont know, 7th or 8th grade, i beat ganon with the iron boots on, and i thought i was super cool, so i made my email/screename ironboots, and i've just kinda stuck with it. how'd you pick yours? oh, and why can't you leave the state, btw? no car?

    lol at this, but no, i'm definitely not an army girl! i am at the sonic boards alot, but you, tenki, and rooooy seem to have just about all the topics covered, plus, posting on smashboards in general makes me kinda nervous, lots of the people on here are pretty elitist...the sonic boards do seem pretty nice though!

    oh, and missouri is in the midwest, where all we have are cows and tractors :) its right in the middle of the country, kind of close to chicago if that helps. we just had a tournament this weekend and had alot of people from all over show up (from Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska) - we're a central location!
