Well, I go to Georgia Southern University, which is further down in GA. But I would drive back to Atlanta to go to tourneys since it's a better option for competition there anyways.

Alright, this is taking your DT method, and improving it. As you may have noticed, when you DR and turn around, you can't do anything momemtarily. Well, it's not the same when you DR forwards. When you do it this way, you can instantly run backwards (like the DT method) and instantly move anywhere, but much faster than DRing while turning around.
It was a combination of things that let me into the SBR. You don't necessarily have to be an exceptional player to get in. You can be a Tournament Organiser, or simply a person with a lot of knowledge of the game and its trends in the competitive scene.
