This works well on doubles. Me and N4N3RZ did this in friendlies - banana locked to 80% then twin fsmash. Epic.

From the Snakes I've played, I'd say it's an even matchup. Diddy's bananas > grenades, and sideb kick beats snakes upsmash. Though Snake's dash attack and other tilts out prioritize most of Diddy's moves. Banana control is important in this matchup.

Gamebattles is a joke...well...I have an account, but I'm hardly ever on it anymore. Bananas FTW.

I'm not saying have them out throughout the match - I'm saying have them out when it feels right to. I personally prefer having a banana out solely for approaching purposes, because I'm usually against aggressive players (and aggressive tends to make big mistakes)

This could be Diddy's version of TL's bomb slide - you need time to pull this off (and luck, apparently)

For me bananas are both an offensive and defensive tool. Skilled Diddys (like myself *no johns*) glide toss from one banana to the other in order to fake out the opponent, then punish. glide toss a banana to him, pick up the next one, glide toss again, fsmash. Use bananas, it's his metagame.

I'm pretty sure these are widely known (well, for me and N4N3RZ) around my area.

Nice, I'm not the only one who uses peanuts for spacing ^_^. But yeah what others said, use more bananas and do glide toss more. Switch up your dash attack with shorthop RAR - you can use this to pick up bananas as well. Hope I was helpful.

I second ICs. All I can say is don't let them get thier momentum going (meaning don't let them get desynching on thier own) and avoid thier grabs. Keep two bananas out with one on hand - you should do well.

Lag is the reason I suicide spiked with toon link, thus losing a match. Goodness gracious do I hate lag.
