ugh

Ran into someone pretty good on FG, started with some close Rosa v Jiggs sets but he started switching characters so I started too...as soon as I switched the first time he went to Fox though, and stayed on Fox, so I guess that was his main. He left after I switched back to Rosalina, I guess we'd played like 9 games at that point but I really wanted the MU exp.

On the bright side the Fox that beat my Rosalina I beat with my Luigi and Meta Knight!

Dear everyone freaking out at that list,

they used tournament results as a contributing factor in making that. Evidently there are good German Dededes/Ganondorfs/Lucina.

Something sounds off about that list. What tourney results were used? That's me, I was playing one of my friends and went from close matches to getting 3-stocked by Sheik.

Then against this Peach, where I lost the first match and barely clutched the second one with a max-rage USmash (I think he was at 87% after the hit lol, it does 16%). I blame lag though. It was one of those "looks smooth but feels like crap" matches.

USmash, it bugs me how

has a very similar USmash except it's faster, does more damage, kills earlier, and is about 10x bigger. I'm not too bothered by the faster release (since mine has far superior IASA frames) and there's not much that can be done about the hitbox size (though it is very exact, I wouldn't mind a slight disjoint), the extra damage and power are something I envy. Would it be too hard to make

's USmssh scale slightly harder?

As a side note, there is something slightly wrong when I manage to counter Bowser's USmash as Mac but my counter doesn't do anything because of his shell's invincibility.

lol at everyone getting irate over the tier list, im not at all shocked at MKs placement because the best MKs are over in the US.

is slowly dropping off because im not getting jacked up by custom jank and

although better in customs i still feel like he doesn't do well against top tiers not to mention his character board is dead.

At least Kirby boards got high level Kirbies posting videos similar to MK boards.

Why are we worrying about tier lists and stupid results when this game is pretty much not going to have a stable tier list with all these patches.

Agreed. The meta is still super-unstable right now. Things have the potential of being completely different after this next patch. Goodbye 1.0.4-1.0.5 meta and hello 1.0.6.

It's interesting checking out the other languages on the main website. IIRC only Rosalina, Robin, some Pokémon, and Villager have consistently different names.

So I'm playing through Pokémon Blue again and I had heard that Poison was a Special type in Gen 1. It's not. My Weepinbell's Acid did more damage to a Gastly than its Vine Whip did, ergo, Poison is physical. Speaking of Vine Whip why is its PP so bad 10 PP for a 30 BP move with no effects really?

It's kinda like Smogon's usage changes. Every 3 months, they put a Pokémon in a new tier (except Ubers) as they rise/drop in usage. Smash 4 is more or less the same thing. 1.0.5 was 3 months ago, now 1.0.6 is coming. Then in June, there's the potential balance patch with Lucas.

I agree, customs are making this meta ****tier. Default meta is eh as is, customs just... meh, it's really hard to explain.
Some characters get "overcentralizing" customs, which leads me to think there is a power creep.
edit: but lol hey, if customs are the norm then idrc. I'll still play

That'll be fun to watch. Since I am looking forward to see how this will end up as between April 15th - June XX. With SecondMew coming out in less than six days from now.
