I get sick far too often due to my immunity system being non-existent ( Epstein Barr patient since birth ) and I really don't think I can keep up with this Thread anymore due to various IRL issues going on.

I tried REALLY HARD to get that fun casual group going, but everytime I just kinda failed at it so I'm sorry to the few who were interested and I'm starting to lose interest in getting it to work myself after soo many attempts

That reminds me a lot of Phantasy Star Online 2's customization. Interface, boob slider and all. Now, if only Sega will listen to its fans for a Western release like Monolith Soft did for Xenoblade.

In other news, I've tried my hand at For Glory again after a week or so of messing around in Smash Run and Classic trying to get customs and doing stuff in Training mode. I've improved some thankfully. My FG win rate went back up to 25% today! (Yeah, it's that kind of bad).

What I found interesting after that time on For Glory was my character win rates. I definitely played as Greninja a lot and invest more time into him than anyone else, but I only won 11 matches out of the 64 I played as him (likely because I play as him so much against everyone, especially the really good players I keep persisting against to beat). By comparison Yoshi won the same amount matches out of 22 and Zelda won 6 out of 24.

It's odd how I just finished doing a ton of Training mode with Greninja and some training with Zelda beforehand, but I did about a minute of training with Yoshi beforehand and I end up doing better with him. I guess Yoshi's just that much better?

@ Alacion As most others have been saying, you should probably keep focusing on your irl stuff above Smash right now. If you're not feeling like playing competitively atm, you shouldn't feel obligated to do so. Just be sure to keep a good balance and have fun playing Smash and things every now and then.

Yeah pretty much what Lavani said in that Yoshi is a lot more lag friendly than Greninja. I'd go as far as to say Zelda is better in lag than Greninja too. With him, it's just so many technical inputs that can easily go wrong with the slightest delay :/

Yeah, Yoshi is a lot more lag-friendly than Greninja. The less laggy and more controllable projectile, faster aerials, less reliance on combos and d-air's damage make Yoshi more bearable to use in lag.

I feel that I know Greninja really well, but when I take him online I don't do what I envision myself doing.

With Zelda, I do okay in lag, but I find rushdown difficult to deal with for her. Her slow grab and lack of fast close-range options make things difficult. I also need to stop using Din's in neutral entirely because I got punished every time today. It shall only be used in long-range edgeguarding/harassing from now on.

Also Zelda-related, I noticed that Farore's elevator is much harder to pull off on Diddy Kong in this game during Training mode. What gives? Is his falling speed really that high? Well, Diddy is a fast falling character (tied with Sheik for #6). Might make it not a thing at lower percents, but it should be more reliable at kill percent because of it too.

I've mostly replaced Fox with him as my fastfall training dummy at this point because he's much more satisfying to beat up.
