I've fought one good Megaman, and I think it's another badish one for us...or maybe I just don't the MU at all. The only thing worth reflecting is...his Fsmash and maybe Uair to prevent juggling. Phantom doesn't stop the Metal Blade. And his "jab" and Nair just destroyed me.

mega/zelda is pretty even. As long as you don't get greedy on reflects and catch mega when he's slipping, it basically like the jigglypuff match, all about mind games.

Reflecting his metal blade and occasional bomb is worth it if only to not take the damage. She has him beat on the ground I feel. His kill moves are soo laggy getting him to whiff one is great. But his aerials are so scary for her.

Never recover high against him, btw. As anyone.

dmash kinda like ours...damn
up air....like ours but more reliable and has more horizontal range
down air also like ours but can kill more horizontally as well...

I find a certain irony in Olimar being next to Zelda in any tier list.

That said, don't really know what to say about this. I've said this a million times, but I can't take tier lists seriously this early in the game. I do find it amusing that the Mii fighters are like in totally different places from one another though.

Wow you guys are insane if you think Megaman is even. He outspaces Zelda with the fire sword and that other sword thing which Zelda has no answer to. You can't Din's or Phantom because they're too slow. Has so much projectile pressure and you can't even liberally Nayru's if he gets in and hopefully it's by ground which it never is. One wrong move like a Nayru's in close-mid range results in death by up tilt.

honestly the lemons are the worst thing about mega projectile wise. Yes we don't have much of an answer to fire blade, but I feel like its not an impossible situation. Peach is still scarier, mega is just the new toonie.

Stupid GIF had bad quality, and the Luma death zoomed out the camera and made it even more unclear. But yes, that is a TRUE combo, for WHATEVER REASON.

Srsly, anyone gutsy to do that in a real match deserves praise.

So does anyone else here besides me miss that satisfying *KUH-CHING* sound when you power-shielded in Brawl? There's something psychological about that sound, I tell you. It seemed to make me better at power-shielding things, but now... eh...

I also miss the sizzling/electricity sounds when you lightning kicked someone. Now when you lightning kick, it makes an almost... shattering sound. Like glass being shattered.

Because that's what it is to be lightning kicked. Shatters your soul.

My friend actually noted about the sizzling powershield. We both agree that it's just not the same anymore.

And I miss everything about Lightning Kicks in general. BECAUSE THESE KICKS ARE JUST BAD NOW.

I agree that the powershield noise in Brawl is my favored noise, but the new sizzle is way less obnoxious sounding at least.

Also, does it feel EVEN easier to powershield in this game than it was Brawl? Or is it just me.

I sometimes can't tell if I power-shielded or not due to the lack of sound it makes when I do. Or well, it's a different, more quiet sound I guess.
