Since I'll be able to watch the pilot of Sound! Euphonium S2 on Wednesday, I've decided to watch the OVA episode of S1, where it's about the ten members of the concert band who didn't go to the competition due to them either lacking or not meeting the requirements to take part in the competition.

The fact the entire show is based around two straight girls with established male love interests being written as as the best damn lesbian couple ever by the fanbase just never gelled with me and seemed pretty voyeuristic. Which, in hindsight, explains why tumblr seemed to love it.

But honestly I still would have watched it through if the characters, all of whom are musicians in the Wind Ensemble which in turn drives the plot along, didn't all suck at playing their instruments. Hey Reina, maybe you actually would have won the Middle School Band regional if your trumpet playing didn't suck ass.

If you want to watch a show that's half about high school girls pining for one another, just do what any normal person does and watch Sailor Moon.

That's understandable. I didn't drop it since I do like most of KyoAni's work (Only one I truly hated was Nyoro~n Churuya-san), but I can see where you're coming from with this.

The music however is fantastic to be honest, I might give the soundtrack a listen another time.

And I do like all of the characters, they have their own struggles they're coping with. Reina with that loss in Middle School, Kumiko wanting to get better, Hazuki getting over Tsukamoto rejecting her. Plus they're all fun as well and have their funny moments, like Sapphire (It's Midori).

If you want to watch a show that's half about high school girls pining for one another, just do what any normal person does and watch Sailor Moon.

I wish Ganon's Utilt wind blew outwards rather than sucked opponents in. Then it would at least have edge guarding potential. Why the developers gave ganon a super slow but strong Utilt when he has warlock punch and crazy powerful smashes makes no sense to me.

Just had my meeting with my support about the activities and exercises I'll be doing for my 2nd Week on my course. Some of these involve making a cover for a CD/DVD Case (I think video games can be included in this too), including one involving 3D sketching (I'll be using a 3D Modeling program that I can easily use on a web browser) so this is going to be a rather busy but fun week.

Also, I might not be going to my Day School/Tutorial on Saturday, depends on how my Mother is feeling.
