Did you use PS4 or PC? I'm considering getting a system that plays Darksouls 3 and other games and one of the options id to buy a PS4 when the next gen systems come out and the price drops. I could also get a PC that could play it since I need a new computer anyway. I don't want to spend more than $200-400 if it can be helped but still get the full gaming experience. TBH I'm reluctant to buy a new computer because I dislike windows 10 and don't do anything demanding more than my current computer can handle. So I'm weighing my options.
Other games I'm interested in are Final Fantasy games, Skyrim, Minecraft and possible Warcraft but I don't like the monthly online fee for that.
if you're interested in trying out uncharted, buy a ps4

otherwise, just buy a pc. all the games you mentioned are playable and better on pc

Just watching a few clips from Mob Psycho 100. I never noticed this until now, but during the pilot episode; Reigen has a picture of Saitama from One Punch Man as his background for his phone.

That's a neat little nod to OPM.

Ironically, it's supposed to be the end of DB.

As it supposed to be more about the story of Goku's last adventures before it passes on to Gohan

Yeah that failed

Seeing Zelda do Joseph and Josuke poses and not smiling makes me kinda upset

Why would she when Sakurai keeps making her trash tho

Hardened by the years spent plummeting down the tier list in brawl
The Queen of Hryule returns with anger in her soul and a vengeance.
The benevolent Zelda we once knew is gone....

Because it does 11%, combos into DA/Grab/Nair/Fair/Ftilt (position dependent), has like no end lag, is disjointed, transcendent, and sets up tech chases against careless opponents.

Honestly it doing 11% is almost silly. I'm surprised they buffed it that much. Her actual "Jab" in the traditional sense is Dtilt
---
Scarlet Jile Scarlet Jile
Anyway out of those changes I liked the aerial changes the most (although Nair could become cancerous since it confirms into practically anything with that landing lag lol).

I really like the dtilt buff, I've been wanting that for forever

The dash attack shield damage is interesting. Not sure how much that would impact her though since even with the FAF buff DA is super unsafe (like pretty much all others)

Fsmash shield damage seems a bit much. It's already a decent shield pressure move. I'd rather have less endlag

Grab changes are nice, but it already has good range. I'd exchange the range buff for a FAF buff

For the Phantom I just want her to act 5-8 frames earlier on release. I can't be bothered to look at the convoluted data lol. I feel like the only Zelda player who actively uses the Phantom constantly :/

Lastly do note that changing fall speed/weight etc could affect her resistance to combos and autocancel windows. Speaking of AC windows you should totally shave off like 10 from both LKs

Nice work

Forgot to ask about giving Usmash less endlag. Mewtwo got it...
It could use a bit more vertical range too. At least enough to not trade with a Mario Nair lol
Thanks for your input. I used my best judgement to implement as many of these changes (in spirit at least) as I could manage. The phantom is really, really convoluted. At one point I changed some figures from 150 to 120, and it seemed to go away quicker and allow Zelda to make a new one quicker, but I don't know if that's really helpful. None of it is parsed in any meaningful way, haha.

Anyway, here's the latest notes. Let me know how you like them.

So uh Peaukemon...

Dartlux is a really fitting evolution for Rowlet I think. Shares a lot of Rowlet's key features while having some personality and somewhat showcasing his throwing ability. It also leads into the leaked final evolution quite nicely with the dart motif and emphasis on accuracy in its description on the website and that one lock of "hair" probably transforming into the hood that the leaked evolution wears. Kind of looks like Prince Charming from Shrek though lol. I think it's good overall though.

Torracat is the simplest starter evolution of the three, but my favorite, which isn't surprising since I was on Team Litten already and this is basically just a bigger Litten with a fire bell and a more openly shown personality. Its description and design do point to that fire wrestler unfortunately, but I'm warming up to that design more and more, so it may not be a problem. I think I'll end up sticking with Litten when the time comes to make my decision, but I'm keeping the other two in mind since I really like the leaked final evolutions for Rowlet and Popplio.

Brionne definitely looks better in-game than in its 2d art. I'm not entirely sold on it yet, but I like the concept and it's cute. The pop star motif ties in nicely with the performer motif of Popplio and the siren motif of the leaked final evo (which I'm really fond of). This may be the first time I don't choose a water starter, but it's certainly close and don't really dislike Brionne so much.

Really excited for the demo and can't wait to get my Battle Bond Greninja. I know that most of you aren't fond of Ash Greninja's design, but I have really started to like it a lot more since it was first revealed. I was so excited and surprised when it was revealed to be the playable Pokemon in the demo! The attention that Greninja's been getting is kind of unfair, but I'm not complaining by any means and will take every bit of love my favorite Pokemon gets :V

:4greninja: Page steal gorls! I dedicate this to frog :4greninja:

I triple posted on another forum to summon the darkest being in all of hell to do my bidding, Fū'j'n.

There were no survivors, besides the ones turned into raspberry flavored sporks.
As a bored gorl would do in ha spare time, I decided to look up "Fū'j'n" for fun.
And you get two results.

Odd, when I google it I get:

1) a copy of Singularities in Geometry and Topology: Proceedings of the Trieste Singularity Summer School and Workshop as the top choice,

2) followed by a government website search result for research papers by a "Fu, J." in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database.

Neither are true though. You already know what Fū'j'n is deep within your heart, Eddie.

So I've managed to figure out how many replays you can have altogether saved on Smash Wii U. It's about 256 Replays that you can save at max on Smash Wii U. That is quite a lot. Might as well clear out replays I got sent from you lot. :V

the lower levels of overwatch are so bad

i just played a king of the hill match where both teams had torbjorns that didn't know you could upgrade the turret

they would just leave level 1 turrets places and then start shooting

I think overall these Zelda changes are good, just a couple of notes I would make:

- Ftilt doesn't necessarily need to have a damage reduction. On top of this equating to a KB nerf (as there was no KB compensation) I've made various rants on how her Ftilt is a lot worse than others. Marth's and Bowser's were/are just better in almost every way (now startup being untrue with your buffs of course) and they can do 12% and KO well.

- Usmash coordinate edits: the y=11 hitbox actually should not get raised, since that would further reduce the low-range making it whiff on a larger variety of short characters despite the size increase. Also the size increases on the 1/2 aka multihits may be a bit ineffective. I'd recommend +0.5 units on each, (maybe even 0.7 for the lowest hitbox) not 0.2. Usmash 3 aka last hit would not need +0.5s though, its hitboxes are already huge.

- FAir/BAir sweetspot sizes. 0.1 unit will not resize it to any useable extent at all. I would recommend upping it to 2.4 from 1.9. CF's FAir sweetspot is size 3.0 if it matters. 2.4 is still not insane, but makes precise usage not whiff because of no good reason. I would also lower their landing lags a couple more frames personally, to make them a slightly safer option on landing, but that's just me.

Otherwise, it looks good so far! I've got all my specific ideas for what I want her to have, and so does just about every other Zelda, but I think this is a pretty good general consensus improvement list you have going.

Miis are already banned clearly

They couldn't even be placed on the tier list

Zelda only wishes they would up and BAN•HER already instead of accidentally putting her name in a random spot at the bottom

*pokes nose in* I remember trying to build around $500... There is not a lot of headroom when Windows makes up a 1/5 of that. Is it possible? Yes, but there are going to compromises.

For me, I said screw that, I'll save up and get something fancy, but not extreme like those $3000 builds with custom water cooling, extreme silence, etc. builds which aren't really good examples of PC gaming. I think the sweet-spot for a regular PC build would be around $700 where you are likely going to get high to mid-high settings, 60 FPS, and at 1080p while also having access to a PC that can do other things. That isn't to say consoles can't do other things. Everyday internet browsing and such are possible. Anyway, going above that price range is where you're getting the high to maxed settings people shell out for because it's that enticing whether it's 1080p, 1440p, 4K, or VR. Going below that, well, you're getting something like a "more flexible console" or what could be considered a regular gaming PC. Consoles are considered to run games around low to low-mid settings compared to PC. Frankly, it's not really a problem considering that low settings in recent games are like high settings for older games. With the current hardware, you can run any game and have them look fine and play fine. Also, art direction, hardware demand differences, developers becoming better at their craft, etc.

Anyway, it's a give and take with consoles and PC (and handhelds). PCs can kind of be lumped into there are a ton of games and most of them are backwards compatible, you have the ability to get high graphics fidelity and performance, and it's a PC, but the drawback is that it's not plug and play, you don't have access to exclusives, and depending on what you do, it can be very expensive or not -- there is a lot of variability. Consoles are plug and play, have exclusives not on PC or other consoles, and are relatively inexpensive, but the drawback is that you won't get top of the line performance, most of them aren't backwards compatible, are mostly for just gaming and can't do other stuff, and games tend to be a fixed price for longer -- no crazy stuff like Steam, GMG, etc. sales.

For me, I lean towards PC over consoles. I'd rather just have a PC that has access to a majority of games being released and that it's a PC. That being said, as a fan of Nintendo and Sony exclusives, I'd like to have either of them, but I created a 10 game checklist so that I know if I buy a PS4, there are 10 games, preferably exclusives, I know I want and can buy whenever rather than buying it and realizing that there aren't a lot of games I want on it that I could play on another system. Happened with the Wii where waiting for Brawl and a new Zelda wasn't that great. Still, found some cool games like Muramasa: The Demon Blade and other Nintendo stuff.

Looking at the PS4, Dark Souls 3 is a given, there's going to be Final Fantasy XV, the remasters of X, X-2, XII, Type-0, and Skyrim. Minecraft is better played on PC and it doesn't take a beast of a machine to run it. So, that's 7 games where 4 of them are the remasters -- Type-0 is a special case, though --, I don't know if you'd be interested since you already have XII; they do offer different experiences with the international stuff we never got. Those 4 are also on PC along with III, IV, VII, VIII, and the XIII trilogy. Skyrim's also in a similar boat as Minecraft, but that's more for "stability" reasons because Bethesda... I'd only say it's Dark Souls 3 and FFXV, but DSIII is multi-platform and FFXV might get a PC port. Add maybe Bloodborne and Nioh which are bloodier, but "Souls"-like games. 4 games. Name at least 4 to 6 more and PS4, slim or Pro, might make more sense.

I don't know much about Linux, but you can go the route of Linux if you really don't like Windows 10. The problem with that is support, especially in games. For Dark Souls 3, I don't think it's supported by Linux, so you're SOL on that. Everyday PC usage would probably benefit more from Linux by having a decent, inexpensive PC and free OS. Windows 7 and 8 are still options, but they're going to be unsupported by Microsoft, so there's that... They're already unsupported in some features and games already e.g. DirectX 12, recent AMD and Intel chips, etc.

I don't think a ~$200 gaming PC is possible without extreme cost-cutting, compromises, or sales like Black Friday. If you're just looking for a PS4-like experience, but with a PC...
Oh, Windows... Why must you take up a chunk of all budgets?

I don't want to go any lower than this, that APU -- the CPU listed is an APU -- is the most recent one and it's stronger than A10-7870K, A10-7860K, etc. You would pretty much have a PS4-like build minus a GPU that "works" alongside the APU. A bit complicated, but APUs being a CPU and GPU hybrid, they can use dual graphics as if you had a CPU and 2+ GPUs. Problem with multi-GPU setups is that it doesn't tend to scale consistently.

Also, APUs benefit from having higher RAM frequencies, hence the 2133 instead of 1600 or whatever, so that's why it's there. Fortunately, it's not expensive.

Maybe you can cannibalize your old PC for an optical drive, maybe hard drive, but nothing else like I don't think a 2005 office PC's PSU would be a good idea to reuse.

Benchmarks for reference;
A10-7890K:
Tom's Hardware: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-a10-7890k-gaming-performance-benchmark,4491-3.html.
Dark Souls 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTTfmFmr1OY. Gameplay starts around 5:00, so don't be fooled by the 60-ish FPS on the title screen. It's at max settings at 720p which is... interesting. I'm sure if you dropped it to medium or low, you'd be getting at least stable 30 FPS.
A10-7860K:
Dark Souls 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7A4Js3CP1gQ. Low settings and at 1360x768 resolution and it's only getting at most, 30 FPS.
A10-7850K:
Dark Souls 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zmxit_qH6MU. Similar to above, but it shows the differences between high, medium, and low settings which isn't much...

If you can stretch it out to ~$500.
Note: The GPU is on a promotion, so it's actually 20 bucks more.

RX 460 running Dark Souls 3 at various settings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IzY3VP2tj8.

Alternatively, you can go with the R7 360 or GTX 750 Ti which are older -- 1 generation older for the R7 360 and 2 for the GTX 750 Ti --, but will have similar, albeit slightly weaker performance. Maybe when the GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti drop, the GTX 950 might drop in price or the newer ones are offered at a better price. Build would look something like this:
Note: R7 360 is about the same price.

Comparison between the GTX 750 Ti and the R7 360 running Dark Souls 3 with settings as close as possible to PS4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZsITS8_JAY. Both are overclocked, so there's that. Basically, at worst, stable 30 FPS. The guy who did the Dark Souls 3 RX 460 video also has one with the 750 Ti.

Between the two builds, I don't suggest the first one. Why? The platform is limiting and is going to be succeeded by AMD Zen's APUs coming later. Reason why I didn't try using any of the FX-based Athlon X4 CPUs of that platform since while they're quad-core and have a slight edge on the i3 in multi-core stuff, their single-core performance is weaker and games are kind of more single-core than multi-core. It also resulted in about the same price as the i3 build despite making it as inexpensive as possible. There's also the problem of CPU bottlenecking which you can look up. This is all in spite of CPUs generally not needing to be upgraded as often compared to GPUs. Intel's i5-2500K is still running strong and that's a 5 year-old CPU only slightly weaker to recent i5's. AMD's good on paper, bad in practice FX CPUs put them way behind Intel while their APUs was a relatively new thing, so they're just in a tight spot. For reference, their older (not-FX) Athlon and Phenom CPUs were arguably competition for Intel's i3 and i5's.

If you can, get something like the second build with the RX 460 or possibly the not-yet released GTX 1050 Ti if it's priced at that range which could make the previous generation's GTX 950 an option. If not, then the GTX 750 Ti which while older, should be fine -- there are people still running GTX 4XX GPUs. Target here is a PC that can game well and maybe slightly better than a PS4 not a PC that can game at max settings, 60-120 FPS, 1440p, 4K, VR, and is pimped out as can be with rims and ****.

I feel like I'm shoving "PC! PC! PC! BUILD A PC!" down your throat. :p

Edit: I make a mention of stuff being Windows 10-only and I put down Windows 7 for chips that are Windows 10-only...

Edit 2: Edit Harder: Dark Souls 3 should probably be played with a controller. It's doable with mouse and keyboard, though.

The funny thing is that he's not wrong:Zelda can have you dead in the 80's or 90's fairly easily, and earlier with Faores Wind.
Should only work once, though. Then the player will go "Oh that super slow move that killed me early? Yea. That's super slow. I can avoid super slow things by doing not super slow things. And since most of the roster has not super slow things, I should be fine! ez kills ty pls ban zelda ok ty again"

Morning girls. How's everyone doing? :4zelda:

Just looking through my work on what I have to do today for University. But it mostly seems to be about designs and chairs. Well, it's a start at least.
