So. They've finally released a teaser for Matchmaking now in TF2.

So far, they've announced three maps that will now be official (Sunshine, Metalworks and Swiftwater), and Pass Time mode will now be out of Beta too along with two exclusive achievements for that game mode.

Gotta wait tomorrow for the list of balance changes and what the new taunts will be.

I know that we only got about 20-ish Pokemon announced for Gen 7. But what team would you like to run in the main game, and then in competitive/VGC?

I don't know if I'll get Sun/Moon, I'd love it because I am a fan of the Moon Symbol, but last time I bought a brand new Gen game, the next game was released the very next year.

But anyway, I am very interested in Pokémon GO, am quite invested in Pokémon Shuffle, and could use a bit of VGC.

hearing the idea about a sniper rifle that heals people reminds me of borderlands because healing people required you to shoot them which looked ******** tbh. sounds cool though

Heal guns are an awkward-but-cool concept. The problem is finding that threshold where you can make a long range heal useful without making it overpowered.

I think TF2 did it perfectly with the Crusader's Crossbow. Non-hitscan so it isn't instant or guaranteed to land across the map, burst heal that's weaker shortrange so it isn't abusable for emergency heals for your immediate teammates but still has more instantaneous healing than the standard medigun, long reload time to keep it from being abusable/problematic, and poor as a defensive weapon.

That said when I read they were adding a "support sniper" I interpreted that as a sniper whose shots would inflict a disruptive debuff like speed drop rather than killing, in exchange for not needing to rely on headshots for effectiveness.

Annnnd... Ibuki's moved up in the list of characters I'd like to play in Street Fighter V. Didn't care for her trailer, but watching her in action really made me interested... This seems to be a running trend -- same thing happened with Ken, Juri, and Laura. The only "weird" thing about her other than the fact she's wearing a schoolgirl's outfit, is that her voice is kind of... cacophonous; it's high-pitched, raspy, and squeaky. Probably not going to be a problem since her voice is only like that in the cinematic story mode. I have no idea what happened, but she sounds fine in her "story" mode and in fights... *gets to a point while watching her story mode* Actually, no, it's all over the place. Either she sounds normal and like in Street Fighter IV or she sounds raspy and squeaky. What the hell... Anyway, at this point, it's something like Laura > Ibuki = Juri > Nash. Maybe Ken... maybe.

Also, on the note of a healing sniper rifle, pretty sure Evolve had one too, Metal Gear had one in Peace Walker, and I don't doubt there's been a game where there was a healing bow or crossbow that lodged a massive arrow or bolt into you while healing you. Yeah, get healed while an arrow's jutting out and resting in your broken bones. Shards of bones spread out in your body is perfectly normal and not painful at all!
